You can cheese both the Shattrath and the Caverns of Time escort quests. When someone else's quest NPC is about to finish their route, just target their NPC and when their owner gets their quest credit, you'll get it, too. You don't have to be in the same party as them, you don't even have to be the same faction.

Another tip: If you never finish the quest special delivery to shattrath city" but keep it in your log, you have a free teleport from stormspire to shattrath. So you can put your hearthstone to stormspire. You miss out on your arcatras key though, since this is part of the quest line.

Note: Spirit shards do not drop "from every boss in Auchenai dungeons" ... they only do when your faction controls the spirit towers. If you're a minority faction on an imbalanced server... gl.

Make sure to check prices on tailoring cloths before crafting. On our server, some cloth breaks even in price (mats cost = cloth cost). Definitely continue to make the tailoring specialization cloth.

For the shat escort quest you can even talk to the NPC from another players quest and finish it faster.

I have done the Shatt escort on 20 toons - just need to stand between the 2 braziers on the second level where the guy walks in to finish the escort (the side of the aldor rise). When he walks in and goes to the edge and finishes his chat you get complete whether it was your own escort or from someone else. My fastest time like like 20 seconds as I just got to the top as someone was finishing theirs. =)

I know this is a few weeks old now, but Shatar was super easy to grind; Bot runs are quick and easy and you get like 3k per run all the way to exalted because all the Netherstorm dungeons are level 70. Bot gives better rep than both Arc and Mech

Unless you are specialized in one of the cloths like Shadow for shadowcloth etc. You are probly better off selling the mats instead of doing cloth. Then try to sell the CD on cloth for a few gold instead.

Disenchanting is only more gold if the greens vendor for less than 3g, at least on my server. And hell, even for blues, if they vendor for more than 8 gold, it's not worth the DE

One important thing to note when it comes to the Transmutation Mastery tip is that it will only really be effective with Elixir Mastery to either Potion or Transmute. The reason for this is that if you are looking for a cost effective method, you don't want potion because it will require you to purchase flying to do Botanica for a quest item and then the 150g on top of that which is more expensive than the Primal Mights. The only tricky part with doing Elixir Mastery is that you will have to run quite a few Black Morasses to obtain the quest item you seek and will be further complicated if another person is trying to become an elixir master. But it is the most cost effective method at the cost of time itself.

Black Morass and Botanica are the rep farm dungeons for Keepers of Time and Sha'tar rep, so this argument loses a lot of weight considering you also have to buy flying in order to get attuned for Karazhan. You're likely going to be spending quite a bit of time in Botanica and Black Morass anyway, and you're going to buy flying anyway. Perhaps if you're trying to get your Mastery prior to 70, specifically? But Black Morass requires level 66, and the likelihood of finding someone to run you through Black Morass sub-68 is very slim unless they are Guildmates, due to the right timelines between portal spawns that make Black Morass challenging for pre-raid players.

@@bamenvy I am specifically speaking of profession alts in general. If you don't have intention for them to be running Karazhan, then purchasing flying is a waste of gold. I even don't want to do it for my alchemists who could use the air to fire transmute, but would require a huge amount of time to recoup the costs for basically just farming shatar rep for that pattern.

I've never understood the point in leveling a character through days of experience for the sole purpose of parking them in a city and operating their professions only. Then again, I have a guild and friends, so I've never had to be fully self-reliant for craftables, I suppose. Enjoy the game how you will, I suppose. Cheers.

@@bamenvy Yeah its all good for people to play how they see fit. In terms of my personality, I am a "put the effort forward, relax later" type of player. TBC especially has this be the case in more than one way. But pertaining to the professions, I put a lot of gold and effort forward with this month which will assist me in achieving another goal I have in mind with less effort required over a longer period of time. To do something without reason would just be asinine. The interesting thing though is that I leveled professions with specific uses in mind and not for everything that they provide. Like my main has enchanting leveled so I can have the ring enchants, but I am not concerned if I have other enchants I could use nor for others to make use of. My crafting alts only needed to get to 350 in each profession to achieve the goal I had in mind for them. So I can depend on others to provide things that I am not looking to hold myself. This is the solution that just works for me and everybody else has there own solutions that they can be happy with.

@@bamenvy As an older disabled person, I am no longer able to raid or do much of dungeon-ing but I do still enjoy leveling and making gold. This allows me to purchase the BOEs that I want from the AH for the characters that I enjoy playing. I have many alts and almost all of them do the daily transmutes as well and the 4 day cloth conversions. This keeps me well stocked in gold and I can buy about anything I want in game with a minimal daily time requirement . Enjoy your raiding and such and others with different abilities and desires will enjoy what we can/want to do as well. =)

You have one specialisation which gives you a double proc. The other cloths are just a cd for one proc.

transmute master only choice if you after making gold, wtf? so for masteries you get an extra item every 5 crafts on average. on my server primal might are roughly 120g each atm, meaning you make about 25g extra a day from beeing transmute master if those items are what you make. if you however are elixir master, you can allso proc extra on flask crafts, that you can easily sell alot more then 1 a day on average. so for that reason, i would argue that only real choice if you wanna make gold are going for elixir mastery

@@bamenvy well, i just spent 100g on vials to give you an idea how much elixirs and flasks im making. that 5 meta proc you got so lucky with probably happends once or twice a year, wile i easily get 5 procs several times a day. im not saying its a bad choice to be transmute master, absolutly not. im just arguing that beeing an elixir master is far from worse choice if you actually are active with your profession

Transmute spec is pretty crappy for most people as you need to be really lucky to get the procs. If it procs 25% of the time and you get a chance for 1 to 4 extra items, the odds are that you will get 2 or 3 the majority of the time and it is only 1 chance every 20 hour periods so maybe 25 to 50g average per week. My first alt that I have gotten to 68+ to do the transmutes has yet to see anything in a week of tries. Still waiting for my first proc...

Be aware that it isn't as easy as what it sounds. For potion mastery you need to run Botanica I believe to get the book that needs to be turned in with the potions.

@@Abalamski I think that is what I actually posted? I was pointing out that it wasn't just turning in the potions and then unlearning for the 150g like it was being portrayed. I play late at night mostly and there are rarely groups doing these runs at those hours on my server anyway. I would rather just do the transmutes and turn in the Primal Mights than waste 5 or more hours trying to get a group to do a dungeon for a book. Botanica requires a flying mount as well so unless you happen to have a druid with flight form at 68, you will be pretty much required to level to 70 on your alts as well to get the mastery done that way. I level my alts to get them to 68 to do transmutes (with mastery), I will eventually level them to 70 but for now, getting them to 68 is my priority...

In shadow moon valley. Just below the horde camp there is an orc crate base soo there is a gate inside and I don't know how to get this key . I didn't find any source about this key so so you know anything about it. The key itself holds no value but it's op for miners for the khorium ore that spawns inside.. the key is called death something key.. and the quest that starts from the horde orc guards overlooking the crate. There are two horde guards and alliance guards.. how do we get the key..
