WowGo 2S Max Electric Skateboard Review

I got shipped this board a month ago after Wowgo upgraded my 2s Pro order to the 2s Max and it's a great board for its price. I've installed a set of 120mm cloudwheels as well. Great review man!

Thanks man! Yeah 120s would do really nicely on this, especially compared to these wowgo branded wheels. Did you have to add riser pads?

Where can you get nice spare wheels? What alterations does the board need when going for 120mm wheels? How do I select the right bushings for me?

I don’t know if I should get this or the wowgo 3! Please help, the wowgo 3 is normally $520 which is more than the 2s max but it is on sale for $399! Which one do you prefer??

Get the wowgo 2s max. It has more miles, torque/power, better wheel options, it's faster and most importantly cheaper

Hej! Great video? Which one do you think is better? Wogo 2s Max or Veymax cejour? And why? As i can see they very simular to eachother but the Veymax is more waterproof. What du you think?

I ordered a 2S Pro on black Friday weekend for only $375 and this came in the mail instead. Not sure if it was an accidental upgrade, or if they ran out of the pro models so they just sent me a Max instead. Either way, turned out to be a nice surprise for me, especially considering what I paid, haha. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can actually take it for a spin.

Update: Has anyone else stripped some of the screws trying to swap the sleeves off of the back wheels? That's what happened to me and now I can't get get them off. Somehow they were WAY over tightened during the assembly process. Now I'm in the process of getting a hold of Wowgo's customer service to either refund my money or send me a replacement board. Pretty ridiculous quality issues of you ask me. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hey thanks! I think the WowGo 2S is a slightly better eboard at the top end of the performance. It has a bit more grunt for climbing hills and I got more range on it. I also prefer the acceleration curve on the Wowgo because it's a bit smoother. I prefer the deck on the V4 with the raised edges, but that's not for everybody. They are very comparable in terms of power at the lower end of the speed modes and for cruising.

@@eSkateHub interesting i'm kinda leaning more towards the meepo since it has the bigger motor then switching out the battery if i wan more range but im not 100% sure my brother has a evolve carbon gtr which it a torque monster and part of me will be disappointed if its not at least half the acceleration but i guess you get what you pay for

I need a means to get to my school. It’s about a 30min walk. I’ve never been on a skateboard would you say I could learn to ride one pretty quick for quicker transportation? Edit: also I’m considering the wowgo v4 shuffle. Do you have any advice?

Not sure if you're still in the market, but I guess if you are not afraid to fall its quite easy to learn. Especially on a longer board like this one. Take a few days to ride it and you'll start to feel comfortable quickly.

Good review. Just wish It had more range, why are manufacturers sticking to that 10-12 miles range? There are plenty of space for the bigger/longer battery compartment. The price for the battery cells are basically 2x cheaper than 5 years ago. Where are all your boards that were on the wall?

It's a good question. The original 2S had a similar range. However, the marketed top speeds of these boards have slowly increased in that time. It might be that the motors are getting better and therefore drawing more power from the batteries. So even though the battery capacities are getting bigger, they're also using more power. That's just a guess, not sure if it's true. Dkwan would know more. As for my boards, I had to get rid of a bunch to make room for this years lot coming in haha

Wow! That's a lot of kms! Great to hear it's still going strong. I think the top end of the range of WowGo, Meepo and Exway are all great eboards under $1000. It depends what kind of rider he is and the style of board he wants.

If he likes hub motor then I suggest backfire G3. It's my first board and it's great and most ppl love it too. If he's a beginner then wogo 2s max or backfire G2 black

Both are amazing, but I'm super in love with my backfire zealot. It is just abusrdly powerful and very good range.

@@bboyagua That's what I am concerned about! if just compare on the data, zealot has a better output and range and flex seems a bit similar to 2s pro (for me), but I don't really like the light (people said you can't turn off the light while in Turbo mode)I just want to keep myself a low profile. I know it sounds stupid that focus on these minor stuffs, but everyone wants a perfect board for themselves, right? btw how far did you get with one full charge(and flat road or hilly area? )

Definitely the zealot S! You actually can turn off the lights when you in turbo mode if u double tap the the power button and the zealot doesn't have the same flex as the wowgo 2s pro. Zealot has more flex then the wogo
