Most often the Item has bad stats ... but you use it anyway because it is +10 iLevels higher.

I mean, in fairness, 8.1.5 was the last solid patch before things got really wacky in WoW. At least the story was somewhat coherent at that point, and the gameplay (as far as raids go) wasn't too easy or too hard. Even now in DFL it seems everyone's crazy about it, but I dunno...it feels....hollow. Like they have all these systems but no real substance to the game. Everything but Cutting Edge and Glad PvP has gone to lowest common denominator. We used to be able to take some pride in what we did in this game, but now success is the standard and failure is the rarity. It's like the devs don't have faith in the design of WoW to stand on it's own so they feel the need to add gimmicks like dragonriding into every expansion, only giving players more reason to cry later when it's not carried over or expanded upon in the next expansion. /endnostalgicrant
