👉👉 I recently watched a USS Alabama review from early in the year. The reviewer called it the best tier 8 battleship, and pointed out that unlike the other American tier 8 battleship, North Carolina, the Alabama had 406mm(16") guns that ARE accurate at longer ranges. On top of that, it gets Precise Aiming II, which greatly increases accuracy, making it a sniper. The question is, was the Roma released after that Alabama review, and is the Roma better than it? ⁉️

Good question. I did ask within my fleet and everyone who owned both recommended the Roma. Still far more punchy and accurate...and flexible/fast. Alabama is not considered a major improvement over NC. Which is why you see so few of them...and so many Roma's. Hope that clarifies.

@@deathfromabove432 Thanks. There definitely are a lot of Romas, but not a lot of Alabamas. The guy who reviewer the Alabama told me that he bought his Alabama on sale for 1/2 price earlier in the year. But somehow I'm guessing that we won't see the Roma being marked down 50% any time soon....... Maybe it'll happen in 2-3 years, once WOWSB has lost 50% of it's regular customers, and WG is willing to offer steep discounts to it's reduced customer base to keep them interested.

@@HighlanderNorth1 The Roma was actually (almost) for free, in the Shipyard! I got mine for 60 copper, which you can easily get from grinding tech tree ships & achieving battle honors/top league. This also explains why you see so many of them vs Alabama, which is all but free :) I'm not sure about this ship rotation in the shipyard, but ships that are there now were once for sale for real money, so maybe it's a matter of patience. Now that I've played them all (see my T8 bb guide series), I'd say it's definitely up there, but I prefer Richelieu. It's certainly the easiest to do well in.
