I don't think it was terrible before, but you really did have to rely on being on a flank that was collapsing to have a good game--not somewhere you should normally want to be--but now it is a little terror.

I was going to buy the new upcoming Charles F. Hughes but I I decided to wait another month to get her so I bought Benham and mine has a 9.2 km torpedoes with a 62 knot speed and I love Benham she’s a beast

I not only subscribe to you but also TBull. But your Premium Ship reviews are my favorite among all other Legends KZbin channels, by far. Wish you would include some non premium reviews but regardless, well done bro. Also im EXTREMELY PRO SECONDARY & strongly feel secondaries are vastly under-utilized, in my opinion. Would love to hear your take on the current state of secondaries in Legends. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK.

Nah! I don't play a destroyer like that. 😄 Probably a bit too aggressive to do pull that kind of carry in something with less than 20k hp.

Excellent stuff sir... Didn't bother with Benham, because no time, and no Gleaves...won the Monaghan in a Santa crate, and similar to here, he just transforms that ship. Still using my GXP to not play stock ships I unlock, but once that's done, might consider Benham...we shall see

I don't know that I would choose the Benham as a GXP ship either, but then again, it isn't my natural playstyle, either. Personally, I hope the Paulo Emilio is a sign of new good stuff to come. It's been far too long since we got a unique GXP ship.

Since the addition of Albert Gleaves ive been wishing for the Italians to get an accuracy battleship commander and i still cant believe that one doesnt exist. But yeah, the Benham is clearly able to be just all around more good with someone like Gleaves at the whelm. We will see what other "Add-on" commanders get added into the game with time.

Tactic made a comment that he mostly stays with commanders mostly everyone had access to. He also does enjoy the historical commanders. But this is rather good idea seeing that us dd torps already are high concealment.

Out of z-35, z-39, and Benham which is a better buy?

I own all 3 - if you said "pick one to win a game", I'd pick Z-35. If you said "pick one with the best big game potential", I'd pick Benham.

I think kpz1234's summary is pretty decent. Between the Z-35 and Z-39, I think most people will enjoy the Z-35 more attractive over the Z-39 because the speed advantages for the Z-39 in terms of cap control are kind of hard to quantify. The Benham is playing a very different game than either of those ships. There's very little that is comparable between it and the other two German ships. I think it is safe to say if you look at what you like to play the most: German destroyers with slightly better torpedo performances (Z-39), German destroyers as slow gunboats (Z-35), or American destroyers with weaker guns and lots of torpedoes (Benham). My general impressions is that the Z-35 and Benham are the stronger choices now, but it is going to depend upon you personal preferences.

A full side broadside torpedo launch won't kill most full health BBs. Personally, I don't care for the Benham. Her guns are inaccurate and her torpedoes are incredibly weak and slow.
