AA build anything is kind of fun, so long as there's something there for the AA buffs to work with. A carrier that loses four aircraft to get off one strike (that misses) is Not Having A Good Time and will go bother someone else next time.

If you're sure that you are going to face a CV, sure. It always feels bad to play an AA build when you don't get to face a CV.

@@tacticangel i dont run my cleveland with an AA build when on my own but i normally play with a friend who loves playing the shokaku and even then i run a hyrbid aa build just incase

Hopefully they continue to reign in the German CV's. That probably means slowing them down a bit and/or reducing their HP pools... they are pretty healthy boys, after all.

Im surprised with how little premium aircraft carriers there will be for the respective nations. For the americans it would be Enterprise and Saipan, both probably tier 7 carriers with Saipan being something like a global xp ship and Enterprise being a campaign ship. For the japanese it would shockingly only be Kaga as a tier 7 campaign type of premium ship, i am very surprised that a ship like Akagi still doesnt exist on PC given how much wargaming love carriers so its just weird. And when it comes to the germans we would get a tier 5 premium carrier which would be Erich Lowenhardt and Graf Zeppelin as a tier 7 campaign ship. Its just really weird how scarce yet infamous a lot of these carriers are and it will be interesting to see when each of those will arrive into Legends. Other then that, this was a great replay and i cant wait to see you on the next one. Quick note, Weser is pronounced with an E like in the pronounciation of Essen or Ente not with an Ie like Wiese or Wiener. Just a quick little add on there.

There are more models out there, like the USS Bogue and the carriers that got cut from the original tech tree on PC, but it's pretty weighted towards high tier stuff. In any case, I am glad they said they are going to take their time and get carriers into a "good spot" in the game before considering adding premium carriers. As for Weser, according to someone I know who basically lives on the Weser, my pronunciation is pretty good.

The thing that makes them better than the other two lines - high speed and high altitude, reducing their AA exposure and making them more tactically useful - remains un-nerfed, alas.

The high altitude actually makes AA exposure worse the height doesn't matter AA will still do the same Damage but because u have to basically be on top of the eny ship to strike u will suffer worse AA then the other two lines

Haha! Yeah, well... JC sent this to me a few weeks ago, but it took a bit to find the time. In any case, I hope to see Royal Navy carriers in general, and the Ark Royal in particular, sooner than later (though I don't like carriers, in particular, just that I think they should have been added before German carriers).

CV’s are so annoying. Even the Kidds AA can’t beat the magic invincibility button. Honestly, why is invincibility even a thing?

Everytime i play cvs my planes get shot down instantly and the match ends with me having done about 20-40k dmg. I wish i was this good lmao
