Thank you for this review. I'm a Knizia fan, but have never played Quo Vadis and am curious about this re-imagining; I'm cautious about the new special powers and when you showed the write-ups for the powers, my jaw-dropped. I appreciate your critique. Negotiation games in general are sensitive to the group playing - everyone needs to engage. Thank you! (I think "vadis" is commonly pronounced differently.)

Glad it was helpful! mispronouncing is my specialty it seems!

Thanks for your review! I think it’s hard to comment on player counts you haven’t tried yet. Of course you can speculate, but saying what the “sweet spot” is without any experience seems to go a bit far. My guess fits yours but I’m curious how peacocks and the ability to have many of your pieces on the board changes the dynamic in a 3-player game. I imagine there’s some added joy in a 3-player game as you try to keep your rivals balanced between each other while elevating yourself.

Not too sound disrespectful but not typically a big fan of Reiner Knizia games, but I have to admit the negotiation in this game is very intriguing. I will definitely give this one a look.
