Using a chisel to notch the sheet metal? I never thought of doing that, very good idea, avoids that annoying twist at the point I get from tin snips. I learn something new everyday!

I was just conversing a few days ago that I believe a catastrophic event could put certain parts of the US society back to this point, a asteroid impact, electromagnetic attack, virus in the electrical or internet infrastructure. Only thing is I doubt our younger population could revert to this. Our society has become so disposable. What would we do if we didn’t have a Walmart or big box store to go buy a “new” something...

My request to buyers. Don't burn wood on this thing because it will be destroyed first try. This REALLY isn't the whole thing or there's something else to the story. Maybe charcoal not wood but things aren't as expected here for a wood stove AT ALL.
