@s8wc34 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure the idea was that you could plug an Ethernet cable or use a WLAN connection on a smart TV or receiver or whatever, and it would act as a switch and send a network connection through HDMI to other devices, eliminating some cabling, but really it was a solution to a problem no-one had. Maybe it could allow a device with no wireless radio to connect to a wireless network, though I doubt any such devices would bother to implement Eth/HDMI either.

Compared to 2g it was blazing, it's still decent speed but it's the bare minimum i'd expect now
@Fetidaf2 жыл бұрын
I think the reason for that is because websites use whatever standard is popular as the base-line to build their websites. so back when 3g was popular then websites were more "basic" and easier to load, and nowadays that we're on 5G they can have a lot more data being transferred and they take advantage of that, but go back to 3G network and try to load the same website then its still trying to send and receive all that data but it bottlenecks. either that or its just relative and compared to 2G/Edge it was fast but compared to 4G its slow like sir/sirette B T said... who knows

It allows you to use styluses, but ONLY capacitive ones (makes sense, since it's a capacitive screen). The other thing that makes it a little hard to use for drawing is that unlike... say, a Bamboo drawing tablet, there is no "hover" sensory to see exactly where you're about to draw, so sometimes pinpoint detail work can be difficult. Apart from that, yes, it works well enough.
@bluephreakr8 жыл бұрын
I know, this video is five years old with some change, but I would still like to mention the HDMI adapter with VGA and Ethernet (8P8C) is for internet-enabled HDMI, so you can use HDMI for internet connectivity. So if you use your wifi to connect online via the tablet, you can (in theory) provide an internet connection to other devices via HDMI, as well sound and video.

That ethernet port is capable of connecting display(s) too. This scenario is useful when a lot of wiring is required i.e distance from the system to a display is longer than usual and a HDMI cable is not long enough to provide a cost effective output with less latency. So to eliminate this issue we use ethernet cable to transfer the data :)

Breydon Wilson Actually i dont care. The point is that Apple has fallen behind, and those products are waste of money now. So everyone who knows what they are doing should buy Android. Who idiot pays 200€ for iOS and 100€ for apple logo? Rest of prize comes from cheap components

My Apple iOS Vs Android... I own both an Ipad, and Android tab/phone By Arcade_Portal32 iOS: I believe iOS is more good looking and better for the person who just wants to call, and play games like "Angry Birds", and likes to use Facebook. iOS is more simpler, and easy to use but is harder on app, and programming developers. To download emulators, or to bootleg app-you will need to Jailbreak, or you may be able to use "time trick" depending on your OS. But I have also found there are less emulators on iOS as well, but I have found the emulators like GBA4iOS look a bit better. Most features on iOS are on android, but there are some cool new "built in" features like picking up your call from your Apple tablet that the Android lacks "android has features like this in Android 5.0 Lollipop"., though Android devs usually find a way to add these new features on there android phones/tablets. I have found updating iOS alot easier, and updates more compatible with older apple devices. Because iOS purposely closed from bootlegging, and unofficial homebrew apps; it is way more secure, and it is getting close to impossible for thieves to steel any information from your device and has malicious software protection preventing adware "though android has good free adware security as well on there play store". Apple has app syncing features "but android has apps that do this as well". Android: Has more customization, and doesn't have to be jailbroken, or use the "time trick" to play Emulators, or get bootleg & homebrew apps. Most android phones battery's are removable. As I have found out myself, iPhone battery's are "built in" only removable by Apple Techs, or using special battery replacement kits. But there are some Android phones that are going this route as well for lightness. Android phones I have found are usually easier on novice developers, but because of that, there are alot more apps on the android that are usually less refined. But some new Android phones, and tablets can now even run multiple apps at the same time "if you wish to do that". Almost every single Android phone, and device uses the universal micro USB cable as. Apple devices use there own proprietary cables. Android is capable of Micro HDMI "currently on certain phones", as apple devices are not. Lastly android devices are capable of expandable Micro SD, and Apple has the iCloud as a form of expandable storage. Some android phones can even be used as TV remotes, but I wouldn't be surprised if iOS, or an iOS app could do this as well. Conclusion: I believe it all comes down to "what do you like".. The refinement, security, and ease of use of iOS. OR the customization, openness, and expandability of Android. I love apple for its refined apps, and ease of use. But I love my Android "im an emulator freak" for the ability to download & play emulators like Dolphin Alpha "which is an Alpha staged project allowing android users to play Wii/GameCube games right on there phone" and download your favorite emulators for whatever system you like right from the Android App store, no dangerous jailbreaking required to play free bootleg games and customize your system, and it's extreme ability to be customized to your liking. It all depends on what do you like out of a phone "Simple iOS, or Expandable Android" Like the war of Mac, or PC. It all depends on what you like in a phone! :) Hehe lol i love to write when I get into a topic :D
