Thanks Adam for a great video!! Do you know if there is a plugin or a way to hide prices based on product category until a user logs in? Hello I am concerned that LifterLMS has no security on registrations (at least I cannot find any). Do you have any suggestions for adding a bit of security? Thanks a lot - Andrew
@yoursalesgrowth53067 жыл бұрын
Hey Adam, Still with ya and things are really coming together. One question. Have you any suggestions for improving the look of the lifter lms reviews? Everything else you have demonstrated looks so professional but this bit is probably best turned off unless you can think of a better suggestion?
@WPCrafter7 жыл бұрын
Yes I know what you mean. One of the thoughts I had was to collect reviews but don't display them. Then can go in and look at the reviews and add them to Elementor with their testimonial element. I know it's a little bit of work, but it would be worth it because this is such an important part of any website. I know for me personally I'm going to stop using the LifterLMS course pages to sell the course, and have a separate sales page with pretty testimonials.
@yoursalesgrowth53067 жыл бұрын
Thx Adam, that really makes a lot of sense. On the subject of elementor, I'm a big fan of beaver builder. I know I wouldn't be able to use the templates you created but would I be right in thinking that the concepts you are teaching would work with either elementor or beaver builder?

Hi Adam--at about 8:20, when you click on "membership," it directs you to the page that shows your membership access plans that you set up. My Purchase (or checkout) page is blank. It just says Your Cart is empty. Click here to get started. But you can't click. Did I miss something. I found if we choose template width as FW fullwidth no footer no header, then only this footer go off but we loose footer. please suggest any solution.

I do think I talked about why I chose GeneratePress and it's because of the deep documentation and support form on their website. If you go to the documentation there or if you go to the support forum you will find instructions on how to change that.

I am looking for a way to display lessons/courses in LifterLMS so that anyone can view content. Is it possible to display content (e.g., a lesson in a course) without viewers having to enroll in the class?
@WPCrafter7 жыл бұрын
You can mark all of the lessons as free and then with some CSS you can hide the little badge that says free on each lesson.

Hi Adam, I think in one of the videos, you mentioned the ability to create attractive check-out pages in lifterlms using the page builder, a little like Samcart? I'm wondering whether this can be done on a "course by course" basis? I've seen a few of the Samcart pages that people run and they seem to have product specific information on each page. Is this possible in lifterlms? Thx again for the content so far. It's been really helpful
@WPCrafter7 жыл бұрын
Yes essentially the checkout page is just like any page, you can create anything with Elementor and then just drop in the short code for the actual shopping cart elements. Now the reason why you see people have specific checkout pages for specific products is because Samcart specifically allows you to do that. It would be nice if this was possible with LifterLMS but I'm afraid it's not at this time. You can only have one check out page and there aren't any ways to make it dynamic.
@yoursalesgrowth53067 жыл бұрын
I thought that might be the case Adam but thanks for the confirmation. Still, I should be able to create some attractive pages. Would love to see you create a video on this. How are the other videos coming along for this course? I think you said SEO, the email plugin and course layouts.

@WPCrafter7 жыл бұрын
That is a great question and observation. You're right that word is not the best choice for most people I would imagine. I would suggest taking a look at a video that I have on replacing the footer copyright credit on your website. In that video I use a tool, a free plug-in called find and replace in the same method could be used to essentially change anything on your website. Also I would suggest opening up a support ticket with the developers on their WordPress.org page to let them know that this should be an option.

Another superb tutorial. I was wondering, the template you used, with the pricing table, does that come with Elementor/Pro or is it a template from elsewhere?

That was one of Elementor's Pro templates. So they are only accessible if you have the Pro version of Elementor and it also uses the pricing table module that comes with Elementor.

Hi! Thank you for sharing this awesome resource! I have been following the course and have finally created a learning platform that I have been wanting to do for a long time, and I have one question. Do you have any videos explaining how to change language from English to another language (Spanish in this case)? I have tried to change the language settings in wordpress and it changes the back end to Spanish, which I don't need, but the front end still displays most of the parts in English. You can see it in your own video at 8:36, under "Payment Details", theres an error message "There are no gateways enabled which can support the necessary transaction". How can I make the payment gateway support recurring subscriptions, like in your example at 8:36? Regards, iKi
@WPCrafter7 жыл бұрын
I would refer you back to my video in this video series where I actually set up the setings for LifterLMS. The reason it saying that is because I didn't integrate PayPal, I do show you how to integrate PayPal but since this is a test site I didn't actually integrate PayPal.

Hi Adam, thanks for your reply. I watched that video too. Sorry, I should clarify, the reason i asked this question is because I tried it myself. I am able to use paypal for one-time payments (under "Membership Access Plans", "Frequency", select "one-time payment"). No Problem with this. But if I select recurring plan (ie, under "Frequency" if i select "every", under "Plan Period" if i select "month"), on the front end i will see that same message at 8:36 where it says the gateway enabled doesn't support this plan. How can I make the payment gateway support recurring subscriptions? Regards, iKi.
