Sucks they don't use this theme anymore. It is a really good theme. Personally, the Tribune Broadcasting logo at the end as the music climaxed (like WGN did for a time) would have been a nice touch, but meh.

@nubianprince6 They sort of did & didn't. When the WB started in '95, it was only on one night of the week, so for promoting the WB shows that aired on that night, the "WB11" branding was in effect, anything else--news, movies, syndicated shows was just "Channel 11" for the remaining 6 days of the week. Cut to a year later when the WB network expanded their prime time lineup, and TPTB just found it easier to incorporate "WB11" into all their branding. And that's how a bill becomes a law.

Promos actually used a hybridized version-- the 11 had the WB logo attached, and the voiceovers generally referred to the station as "The WB, Channel 11"-- KTLA did a similar thing around that time.

I got WGN America in my town in Dallas Texas before they turned into a cable TV network I was 7 years old I'm seen the WGN news logo for opening it's morning noon and 9pm newscasts these 3 I need get a back it full respectful to my late great uncle and Aunt Marsha.
