Thank you for that helpful tip on using the same brand of color that you are using. I have discovered that every manufacturer's colors are different even though the name and pigments are the same.

VERY helpful; Thank you. I tend to use a lot of green in my landscapes, and I'm forever forgetting how I mixed the different shades. Your advice on making a labeled color sheet is excellent, and I won't put off doing so any longer. I also appreciate your "system" of basing your greens on Prussian blue; that, too, simplifies things (which I need!).

Chris Cornell yes it is good to do colour swatches and label. I am always up for simplifying things 😀 when you have investigated the possibilities of Prussian blue move on to the others....that will keep you busy😀.

Un video molto istruttivo e interessante! Non avevo mai considerato il blu di Prussia per i miei verdi, grazie mille!

A very helpful demo. I am surrounded by various greens where I live and struggle with getting the “right” green, so thank you for your excellent video.

My starting set of 12 Sennelier tubes included 2 greens (Phtalo and Forest Gr). I palleted large amounts of both and now wish I hadn't but hate to waste them by trying to dig them out of there! Your tips for mixing them are much more helpful.

Thank you Wendy, I enjoy attempting to paint flowers so these green mixing tips are invaluable....will definitely stop over mixing my combination of colours. Love how you explain things so well. I really enjoyed painting along with you yesterday doing sample backgrounds and adding salt and cling film. Thank you and keep well. 💕👏💕

Today is the first time I have come across your videos. I first watched the holly video (with cling film) which I absolutely loved and then followed your links to watch the masking fluid video and then this one - mixing greens. I have watched so many videos on mixing greens and still never know what to mix when the time comes! I understand that we need to experiment but I have now discovered that just sticking to one blue ie Prussian Blue and a few other colours I can find all the greens I need. I now have my ‘go to’ starting point! Thank you so much for taking out Athena confusion of mixing greens! You are an amazing teacher and I can’t wait to watch more. Thank you!

Lovely….glad it was a help. Recently I have found that if you mix the Prussian blue with cadmium orange that will give you another deep green 😀👍

Ultramarine is green biased, not red! French ultramarine is red biased!
@WendyPowellJones2 жыл бұрын
It’s my understanding that ultramarine and French ultramarine both lean to red. You can buy ultramarine green.
