I’m in love with dry brush technique. Can it damage expensive brushes?
@WendyPowellJones4 жыл бұрын
No....the thing that damages brushes is scrubbing them into dried up paint or pan colours. Sometimes it’s best to mix with an older brush then switch to your best brush.
@dixiedrost47833 жыл бұрын
I'm having a go at this but my flower shapes are quite wonky. How di you apply the masking fluid to make them resemble flowers?
@WendyPowellJones3 жыл бұрын
I did not make any particular shape.....look closely and you will see that. We are just looking for the suggestion of flower shapes . Perhaps yours are too big ? Wonky isn’t always bad 😀
@dixiedrost47833 жыл бұрын
@@WendyPowellJones Thanks for your reply! I think my masking fluid may be the problem? It was difficult to handle and made little bubbles.
@WendyPowellJones3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you need new....try pebeo...there is a link in my most recent videos if you can’t find it. It works really well and it is a light grey that you can see when you put it o n but it is not too distracting.

Hi, I looked at your ebay site and your work is lovely. There is a color or color mixture that I am trying to create/replicate. In your painting, "Summer Foliage 2," I'm wondering if you can share the color of the pale yellow in the sky? I would appreciate your help.
@WendyPowellJones4 жыл бұрын
Hi....I can’t remember exactly but it will have been a cool yellow....cadmium yellow pale or lemon yellow 🙂
@vicmurai10333 жыл бұрын
Wendy, on your preliminary sketch of flowers they appear to be white spots. Are you using a "mask" so that the green paint will be repelled? You don't explain why the green paint is being repelled by the white spots for flowers. ????
