WPL C44KM Real Time Build - Part 4 Body and First Run

Here I continue to build the C44KM - in real time with descriptive voice over. The chassis and electronics have been assembled, now it's time to build and fit the body.

Awesome looking truck, how long did it take you to build it all in all?

Bar the into and exit waffle it's pretty much real time - there were a couple of edits where I made and had to undo a mistake, had to get up and grab a different tool or just needed to go in for dinner. If I hadn't been trying to do it carefully and methodically for the video I'd probably do it in half to two thirds the time.

@@smallscaleadventures Half the pleasure of these kits is building them, it’s all to easy to go and buy something and take it for a run. But it’s not really yours unless you’ve built it. As we both know these aren’t just RTR kits there’s unlimited things you can do with them. I have a channel but haven’t put anything on it yet lol but I’m with you, just share the joy. I’ll make and post a video of some of my work soon. I’ve nearly finished the Bruder Unimog snow plough WPL chassis conversion and I must say apart from the lights it’s nearly done and I think it’s pretty cool.

100% Even the RTR ones I've had have been taken apart and put back together. I definitely enjoy the building/modifying more than the driving them around.

@@smallscaleadventures totally haha I’ve got a C44KM to build and another MN86KS grey, I got a black one last Christmas and it’s hardly been used but then I like building and collecting them, but there is a track in the back garden that does get used.

And yeah try not to drive into your screws lol that’s what I’d normally do lol
