This was a really nice interview in such a fun series! Thanks for highlighting great folks from the community Wes and congratulations Jim on all your ultra achievements! I think the grit and determination of folks running a longer race at the back of the pack is so inspiring and deserving of celebration. Also, what a cool way to cross-train (hiking off-piste to hunt for antlers). Nice work Jim 🙌

I met Jim at Hardrock 100 2 years ago volunteering at Animas Forks aid station.. such an amazing dude and inspirational!! I’m lucky to be able to call him my friend… Thanks for having him on!!

Felicitaciones Wes , por tus carreras y por estas historias y por supuesto a Jim por su historia de vida. Yo con 55 corrí mi primer maratón (soy de Uruguay) y las carreras largas que veo en tu canal son realmente apasionantes. Aquí si hacemos una carrera de 250 millas nos pasamos la frontera del País 😊. De todas formas existe una Backyard, algunas de 70Km, siendo comunes las de 25Km, pero uno de los motivos es que no hay suficientes participantes que sustenten los costos que la organización requiere una competencia de ese estilo (somos solo 3.5 millones de habitantes). Un abrazo y que sigan los éxitos. Felicitaciones
