Protesters with Haitian flags attended a political rally on Sunday in South Florida. Some were demonstrating against former President Donald Trump's allegations about migrants eating pets. There were signs in support of Vice President Kamala Harris.

So glad that they are gathering for the betterment of Florida and USA as a whole. They deserve to be treated with the same dignity and respect as any one else. And, if they applied for citizenship and are able to vote that way they have my upmost respect. My college boyfriend was from abroad and in the USA on a study Visa because he was incredibly intelligent and was studying engineering. He studied for and passed the citizenship test (I helped and it was challenging to study for), he graduated from college, and is now a successful engineer elsewhere now. Hard working people deserve to feel welcome and to be successful here.

It is not a lie in the 1990s when the Haitians were in South Florida mainly Fort Lauderdale, where I’m at. They used to have stray, cats and dogs all over the place. It was unbelievable to how many stray dogs and cats we had and then all the sudden you see these Haitian barbecue shacks pop up everywhere and then within a couple of years time There was no more stray dogs and cats but a Fort Lauderdale police officer wrote a paperback book about it the Haitians are the stray animals killing them and cooking them and eating them and they were selling them to the public because they had the Haitian barbecue shacks all over Sunrise Blvd., Broward Boulevard Which is six Street and the ghetto off of ninth Avenue. They were all over the place and that’s what they were doing. They were catching cats and dogs killing them and selling them. That’s what they were doing. That is the truth and there is no disputing that ask anybody who lived in Fort Lauderdale back in the 1990s when the Haitian barbecue shack popped up all over the place in Fort Lauderdale.
