Whoever told you those bolts were sheared is an idiot. Are you getting your info from the DOT? How do they not know what a sheared bolt looks like? That is basic knowledge. It is no wonder the bridge is failing, the state hired people who know nothing about their job.

It was supposed to be fixed in 1997 when they worked on it for years, but instead, they cut corners and this was the end result so any smart person who takes that bridge everyday should either sue or try to get them on attempt murder charges.
