A "closed" relationship between unions and their governments in other countries greatly differs from situations like NTUC where PAP MPs were planted in NTUC for leading the NTUC.

MP Gerald Giam wants Independence . What is wrong or bad about Independence ? Why is pap against what Gerald is championing? If any IB can prove anything with Independence is bad, let me know. I have something for him. So is PAP then don't want Independence? And is that indirectly supporting the concern raised by Gerald that there is perceived lack of independence? Please make your stand clear

Why is there so many platform workers? Who stole their jobs? Pap. Did ntuc fight for sinkies? No. Can ntuc fight for sinkies? No. Its not election talk. The point is pap controls the union.

My dear pinoy, don't always use the word principle and say until so loud. I can't see any principle in you. The only principle I see in you is to constantly go against the well being of SG local citizens and speaking against your conscience. Since Ah Gong pay you the salary, your only principle is to follow Ah Gong's instruction to take full advantage of the local citizens.

The question is can a politicized n cowed ntuc protect workers? Look at the share of gdp. About 35% to greedy employers. Workers only get 20 to 25% share. In America, employers get 20- 25% of gdp. Workers get more, about 30-35%> So pap is smoking. Again.

As he admitted, it is one of the most difficult political speech of his life and de Souza cannot even remember which year exactly he made it. Trying to be dramatic. Its called Wayang and its nothing humbling and respectful interjecting a fellow duly elected MP when he himself is guilty of the same as pointed out by Pritam. Its called rules for thee and not for me. Hypocrisy.
