Great to see these changes coming to Elementor. I would love to explore more alternatives however Elementor is my daily driver and I have a large list of client sites (100+) with Elementor running on it already. The goal is to minimise the large amount of plugins and consolidate things so there are less conflicts. So well done to the Elementor team for pushing to make this plugin better. Thanks for sharing as always these videos are great to keep updated within the world of WordPress

Great video as always Paul Despite that it comes monthes later due the fact that Elementor doesn't seem to care about customers feedback. After having waiting so long time and had to use additional extra third party's plugin like first dynamic ooo when it came to use loop builder with filters / dynamic view for displaying categories / visibility for conditions / repeater fields Unlimited elements for read more / read less / facet search I switch to Breakdance and it took me less than one day to take hands on and being able to build pages liike as was in Elementor but quicker with all in the box without extra plugin (I assume to use destiny element extension when timeline, readmore and categories loop needed, and I prefer their facet search more complete) Regarding dynamic conditions it can be use in all elements and also in queries ( with a panel control without tiny dropdown but data available in full view organized and displayed like they were buttons) Now when I have to work on existing elementor's webdites, if it is gonna take me more than one day I prefer switch the project to brrakdancd to work quicker znd without problem. Sorry Elementor I waited too long

Elementors “new features” are standard features in Avada theme, combined with ACF Pro that’s also included. So it’s bad to just use the same theme if you like very useful features.

@stefanjohansson2373 I didn't know that about Avada. With Elementor, I typically use Dynamicooo's Free Dynamic Visibility plugin for display conditions.

@@stefanjohansson2373 just a heads up, that due to policy changes from ACF, in the future, it will not be possible/allowed anymore to include ACF Pro in themes

@@toineenzo The greed around ACF “lifetime” is a classic and I’m not surprised if they also stop bundles with themes that helped building their success. Avada made the right choice when they created own forms (instead of CF) and dynamic features without the need for plugins. ACF Pro is nice, but overkill for many smaller sites.

The Flexbox and Grid containers perfoamance improvements seem promising and the percentages they share are really hight. Cant wait to check them when the stable version gets released.

1:35 Well if we lucky we should get that change to put it in it's own tab and make it more visible, maybe mid to end of 2028 (If we VERY LUCKY), if one looks at their track record for putting in features their user ACTUALLY ASKED FOR! (I mean these Dynamic conditions were asked for by users since back in 2019/2020 already)

I’ve used dynamic data and conditional options for years in Avada theme. It’s very useful to use display conditions instead of hide for a leaner code. Should be standard features.

The speed factor needs inproving . Yes the dynamic side and conditional side were overdue. Elementor needs to focus on site-building functionality over all other aspects of their business....But we have said all this before have we not ?

Agree. New projects on Bricks. Loop grid is so easy to use in Bricks compared to elementor loop-item, besides all the other features in Bricks (classes...) Another top one in bricks UI, is the "red dot" that indicates a setting is not the default, and easy reset. Let's say you set a border. You immediately see it in Bricks panel. In elementor you'd have to unfold the border setting to know if it is set or not

Could this new feature be used to do the following? If there is no youtube URL entered into the single post then select the thumbnail image to display in the post, so if there is a youtube URL entered then that appears in the place of where the thumbnail would be. Thanks in advance.

Fortunately it didn't take long for Elementor to add this much needed feature. If there are anything that still needs improvement, it is the visibility and accessibility of this feature. I still cannot fathom why this is nested under Layout instead of being its own Tab under Advanced. It also need an easy way to see which elements has Conditions being applied and what is being applied instead of needlessly clicking one by one.

Hi, i have a problem because i not undestand why, but in dynamic tags there are not all my custom fields made with ACF. I can add a widget and show the content from dynamic tag, but if i want to use display conditions i not found some fields... How i can fix it?

Paul, how would you use this for business hours? For example, I have a CPT called Restaurants, each with their own business hours, I would like to display and Open/Closed element based on the business hours each for for each business. I've tried this and Crocoblock, but no luck.

I used the Dynamic Content for Elementor plugin for a few years until I just gave up on Elementor altogether. It’s a hot mess and very late to the party. It’s still great for people who have zero coding experience and want something simple and basic but once you have a serious business, Elementor starts to become a struggle.
