The reason some are closing is due to theft and vandalism. People actually hurt themselves by acting like this.

I don't think that's so. Big Lots don't play with shoplifting. I saw a man get caught try to steal a pack if candy. No one is stealing from Big Lots I hope

They raised their prices which hurt their business. I use to love going to Big Lots, but Wally World is cheaper now...

I'm in Texas, and our walmart got a makeover, and it looks like a jcpennys with those prices. It will soon be over for walmart. Biglots raised its prices a few years ago, and lots of people stopped shopping there.

Don’t be a simpleton. This is like saying it was Trump‘s fault when Kmart and Sears went bankrupt in 2018. Don’t say stupid things unless you really understand the economy. The reason big lots is going under is that it got too expensive. I went over there the other day to buy a plastic container And they wanted $12.99 for the same container that $6.99 at target

It's because the store once labeled as a bargain store raised their prices significantly losing their identity as a discount retailer over the years.Customers can find the same items or better at walmart/amazon for cheaper so they do.This has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with poor decisions made by biglots leadership.

They sadly closed the Big Lots that I used to shop in Pinellas County FL. The have great seasonal items. Sad to see them go. Amazon is killing small businesses!
