I can't believe you still have a Big Lots!! Ours closed about a month ago. They were super NOT cheap here, though. Same prices as all the other name brand stores, nothing was discounted unless it was visibly broken. 😢

@@hikerhobby1204 What an incredible blessing, two healthy lungs. My doctor often compares me to transplant patients when talking about my immune system. I have Addison's Disease, so I am steroid dependent, while the steroids are what keep me alive, they also destroy my immune system. I also suffer from a bladder disease that causes chronic pain, which puts my body under stress which means, upping my steroid dose. My husband is a teacher, so he is always bringing home viruses, even when he is not symptomatic and his body is fighting it off, I can still catch it. He leaves his shoes, changes clothes and washes off before he gets his hug/kiss. 😂 The spring and summer are much better. I also wear a mask everywhere I go, but I am open to any more tips you may have!!

She asked if we thought the glasses are the same product. I worked in a repackaging center where we would unpack pots, etc and they would be repackaged and sold (minus packaging and literature) at other stores. So I do think they probably are.

We have two really large Dollar Trees in my town (they are in old KMart buildings) and we never seem to have a lot of things that hers has either. It's so frustrating. I'm checking out our Big Lots now, too.

We have two and both have different items…if we want basics, we go to the one less than 10 minutes but if we are looking above basics we go to the other because they carry more of the things in videos. I was in the closest one yesterday and they were clearing the shelves and restocking with more variety. Between the new Dollar Tree items and Pop Shelf, my daughter and I have to be very mindful of what we are buying 🤗. And we rediscovered Big Lots too………😬

I have been shopping Big Lots for years! It is a true hidden gem! I have decorated many a room with their products, from furniture, ( living room set, fireplace, accessories and rugs) guests thought I went to a high end furniture store! I agree with one of the commenters here.. some of these products are repackaged in other packaging yet are the exact same items sold at pottery barn and other high end stores. It is called, “publicized packaging”. Notice Big Lots sells Broyill Furniture well so does other name brand furniture stores. Some at double or triple the prices! I know for I have researched it. The funny part is if you go into the high end furniture store you have to “order” the item; whereas, Big Lots has it in stock and it’s cheaper! Now that’s a no brainer! 😂… Great Deals with a fantastic variety for any decor choice!! Worth checking out!! 😊

I went to BL to get some of those glasses. They only had blue and pink. So, then, I saw the same glasses at Hobby Lobby. They were 40% off and even then quite a bit more than BL. Then I go to Marshalls. They had a similar glass and they were $5 a piece!

That facade is the big lots in Mathews/Mint Hill Charlotte NC. I swear they must restock just for you because the few times I have been in there that store is super sparse, nice things, but sparse. Though, if you are in that area, Metro Diner a couple of stores down is an wonderful place for brunch.
