And what “they” didn’t tell you, the 65th was disbanded and replaced with fresh troops from the us. 65th would go on to fight in Pork Chop Hill and Also defended Old Baldy and Papasain. Glad the 65th has their day, the unit as a whole deserves recognition.

My cousin was in this regiment. He ended up a P.O.W. but was later released in a prisoner exchange. The 65th relieved the Marines surrounded at the Chosin reservoir. Too bad he passed away before he learned, my grandson, is now a Marine.

You have to question why in the United States of America are not educating us in school about the 65th Infantry🤔 we bled and die for this country. So you can take tax money from the island of Puerto Rico but the island of Puerto Rico cannot vote for United States president🤔 land of the free, home of the white i mean the home of the brave😉
