each thing you can record for views has a certain amount of points it gives you. we use points instead of views because points are the base value of how good it is before the multiplier is applied to it to give you views (the multiplier scales with the quotas). there’s a full list of everything that gives you points to record in the speedrunning discord that you can find on speedrun. com s content warning leaderboard :)

at q21 the view count needed for quota no longer increases so we could go another 20 quotas and it’ll still be 2.5m

not sure, could be a brightness or gamma setting in the in game settings or the game might’ve been updated to be darker in recent updates since this was done a few patches ago

instead of telling you “did you not watch?” i’ll tell ya. so basically they retrieved a camera from the old world and they brought the one that spawned on the surface along with the retrieved one, so then they would have two. or more. depending on how many times they retrieved it.

just having the cams doesn’t do anything but if you record the same thing on 10 cams u pretty much 10x the value of it, do that over multiple quotas and 1 cam can fulfill a quota pretty much
