The outcome of a firepower test between Cryo and Storm would be probably too easy to guess and it would likely not give much insight on their performance on Ravana robot. That’s why in todays video I wanted to give more focus to gameplays of both setups to really see how good they perform in battlefield. From the playtests I made they both perform really good. Both have automatic reloading mechanics which make it go perfect with the robot’s transcendence ability. They also have very high burst damage output which allows the Ravana to make fast and sneaky attacks. Any of these two choices would not disappoint but there is one thing that favors the Storm more and that is its upgrade price. Storm is 2.7 times cheaper to upgrade than Cryo. And this makes Storm a better cost effective option in my opinion. My pick would be Storm and that’s what I would recommend on Ravana if you have limited resources.

I think storm is a million times better weapn for ravana than cryo. Like u said with the ability...it's almost perfect!

Great video Aygir! I have been running cryo and storm on each of mine and switched the cryo for my old Corona. The shotguns just mesh so well. I put the Corona in my tdm Hanger and storm in the beacon one. Can't bring myself to run two in one Hanger

Also what makes Storm Ravana better than Cryo Ravana is the big punches it makes, that makes enemies quicker to die while Cryo needs to deliver all the rockets to deal the full damage...

Both setups are really great to have your own strength like cryo has range damage as well but storm doesn't by storm house pasture killing four shots average kills most robots and I couldn't go more but I'm lazy to write more XD lol😂 but great video by the way I'm wearing your T-shirt right now :) 😁👌💯😎

Storms won't be effective in long range, like the maximus range of it which is 500m. But the Cryo will still be the same effective no matter in what range that is in the maximus range of it.

On Shotgun Ravana, I’d suggest 2 Thermonuclear and Last Stand, not a defence module as you showed. Nonetheless, it was helpful to see your setups in action and thank you AYGIR. Appreciate all the tests you do mate :)

The "Nerf" acts as a buff for Ravana. unloads quicker. I am playing with MK2 lvl 3 each, storm and cyro. I do way cooler stuff with Storm. Feel like i wasted resources on cyro.

I feel like there is an issue with Ravana (for anyone trying to take one down that is)....When the Ravana is coming out of using its ability I think it can fire before taking any damage. Several times I've been unloading rockets while the Ravana was coming out of its ability and before it took any damage I was taking damage, and the damage it took was minimal. It can also use it's ability several times in a row without taking any damage, but there is no way that the pilot could actually hit the ability button fast enough to not take any damage from say a scourge which is continually dealing damage (several times a second). This being the case, it would make sense that there is a fraction of a second where the ability is over and it does not take damage, and during that fraction of a second the ravana pilot can still deal damage. When you have a ravana running storm, a single shot from 3 mkii level 12 storms is devastating, and considering it can pop you once without taking any damage and use its ability again, then repeat the process, it is no wonder these things are so hard to take down.

I have run both (maxed) extensively. I like the Cryo and think it is a better all around solution however I kept losing 1v1 matches to Ravanas running Storm. The Storm is perfect for fighting other Ravanas or multiple bots over a beacon. You pop out of Transcendence, take two devastating shots, then pop back into transcendence. The Cryo can’t deliver the same damage as the Storm will over a 1 or 2 second period. Even though I don’t like the Storms since the nerf I’m running them now.
