Cataclysm. That lock on is key when facing regulat bots. And it has a much longer range and does very good damage at close and far range

it depends, both are good weapons and will perform well. i personally like cataclysm more, as it offers better performances at range and takes out fafnirs really quickly. but many player prefer grom, as is better for face to face brawling

We need to tell pixonic about Grom's nerf : When I got Grom few months ago he's lvl 1 is 1030 damage but now is 937, This weapon need buff again.

Grom is for kill titans, the ammo is basically infinity and a sharanga with max Grom and cannibal reactor kill a Arthur in 3 shots

When pixonic nerfed the damage output of grom It didn't affect much but the bullet spread of grom which is increased by 15% is making the grom weaker

My honest opinion is that from is quite balanced now, it deals absurd heavy damage on titans but not too much on normal robots, which makes it slightly more fair in the lower leagues. I haven’t owned one myself though, so idk

Yeah cataclysm away I would have picked at this in any way the weapon is just better vaporizes robots in a couple of seconds and kills Titans decently fast and it fires so long before I calls it a day the weapon is just great

I noticed that glory at 300 m do more damage as compare to groom but we have to think it's actually a Titan weapon but it seems funny

They reduced the damage from 300m range I think, grom was way better like 5 months ago, very guy with sharanga was running grom

Cataclysm for overall performance and grom (I don't recommend) for pure brawling. As they cost same ie 1000 pt. I think it is good to go with cataclysm. Just my personal opinion. Let me know what you guys think about it.

the cataclysm are ridicuculous and more universal that grom but all the catacyslym is overall better than groms, groms puck a freacking huge punch i run a minos cyclone and get phase exiled and then after i get blasted in the face with the power of 7 groms (counting the modules and the full power mode) i still like cataclysm more but i also like grom alot what is hate is the phase exile of sharanga

I have a question about Gust, Storm, Thunder, Squall and Grom weapons: since they fire a lot of bullets, does each bullet deals the same DMG? (to those who don't get it; for example the damage output is 10k, does each bullet deals 10k or not?)

From maximum distance 500m it will deal only 10k damage,and at point blank,it will deal more damage

No, the value stated is the max damage if all individual projectiles hit. For instance Gust fires 4 projectiles and it is stated that it does 1760 damage at level 1. That means each projectile does (1760/4 = 440) damage per shot. Also it is stated that the gust is 100% accurate from ranges less then 100 metres. So firing the gust from less than 100 metres should inflict maximum damage. If you fire from 250 metres, it is stated that the accuracy is around 50%, so you could expect to do half damage at that distance. (880 damage per shot)

I'd say cataclysm. Groms are very powerful but only at close range when cataclysms do a lot of damage even at 600m and you don't need to constantly aim since they are like calamity. Groms do 2× damage to physical shields but cataclysms go through energy shields but grom definitely is better at close range

Top clans will run mixs of minos shotgun, luchodor anything, nodens anything, and sharanga grom. Making grom better

That is true but grom and squall can obliterate energy shields and aegis shields in 2 seconds same with physical shields while cataclysm and cyclone need to go through physical shields which is difficult at long range, while the shotguns can destroy pretty much anything

I don't have QR so I'd try x2 cataclysm x1 grom u don't loose lock on so easily n can still break shields if anything gets too close

Most titans, except for minos, are slow and have a hard time getting face to face with other titans. So I prefer the cataclysms or cyclones.

The grom only can kill Arthur easily, Sharanga may have the damage but it also have pathetic speed, any Fafnir or Orochi can hunt them easily.
