after the nerf grom finally feels more like a shotgun, before the nerf it had huge potential, trishotting titans at range. right now i would choose vengeance tho, for it's better versatility

do you even own a grom? It was nerfed so badly. It’s worse than vengeance, A STARTER WEAPON. Grom also costs 1000 platinum.

I’ve been bouncing back and forth between the Vengeance and Cataclysm on my Sharanga. I’ve been finding it easier to deal with all the Fafnirs and Hawks I’ve been seeing using the Cataclysm. I suspect in a head to head comparison of stationary targets the Vengeance would win. However, I would really appreciate it if you could do one. More importantly, I would love to see the gameplay afterwards just to see how you would use them. Thanks as always A!

Facts. Actually, the vengeance is way over powered. It's the only build I use on my sharanga and it starts a fight and finishes it.

7:10 those groms dealt more damage to the arthur than it did to the invader, the arthur's HP should be given back

because of resistance, the invader normally has less HP than arthur only because of the titan resistance, but because the grom bypasses it, arthur becomes weaker than the invader.

Invader has smaller hitbox and Invader has more hp then arthur if we don't count the titan resistance. (The titan weapons bypass resistance)

Both of these setups are very good, but I think the vengeance will perform better in most cases because the grom cant really hit small targets well even at around 150m

@@badunk3379 i think alot of the best people dont even use sharanga, due to already dealing more than enough damage they would rather go for something faster like the minos with the shotguns due to its still very high damage its speed and its resistance

Yeah they killed Grom with those nerfs. Now it is only useful against Titans closer than 100m. Other targets are almost impossible to hit.

Vengeance is good for long distance but Grom better for close up action depends on your play Thumbs up 525

Nerfing titan shotguns made them practically useless. They perform worse than thunders at ranges 200-500, dealing absolutely no damage. They can only do something at 50>, and even then, the other titan using only starter weapons could already have chipped away your hp enough to kill you faster than you can kill them. Useless, not worth the 1000 platinum, trust me, you will end up being disappointed at how bad they are.

Pixo broke the game, sold enough groms & sharangas and made their money off the whales so they had to nerf them & bring back balance before too many players quit… it’s the same formula every time people. Some players will never learn lol

Groms are good at 200mts or less. Over that range and your farting in the wind. I regret selling my vengeance and other weapons, what’s bad today could be good tomorrow depending on pixonic devs. Buffs and nerfs always happening. They should buff the older bots into something desirable.

Pix shouldn't have released the sharanga with huge hp like this...the titan it self should have been a sniper titan not a brawler...sharanga ability should been healing like ao ming with that damage boost...now they nerf the shotgun and slight nerf to the titan...
