This is only my opinion but I actually really liked Nook/Rogers! I felt like the writers got to play more with Colin's character this season. Some of the storylines in season 7 was really interesting. Rogers' playing a detective grew on me throughout the season. I actually loved this episode and had no problems seeing him with other women. This was such an interesting episode! I think for the entire 5 seasons I had seen Hook previously (and adored him) I was kind of done with that storyline. So happy his character came back in season 7, it's given him new life. I wished Ruby could have made a comeback too. She was my favourite.

Actually she would just be Snow and David’s step granddaughter. As Emma isn’t her mother. She would however be their granddaughter if Emma adopted her. Also technically she still is Hope’s half sister. Since they were both fathered by Hook. The only difference is that Alice’s dad is the wish realm Hook. I think she could still be Henry’s step sister, and Lucy’s aunt, and Emma’s step daughter and all that but I could be wrong. It definitely is a very complicated family tree.

The other Hook (not this one) was in Neverland for a while, where nobody ages. I believe he was hunting Rumpel, or at least stalling for time to find a way to get his revenge. He came to Storybrooke after the curse broke, the same agr he was when he first entered Neverland after Mila’s death. He became the Dark One after Emma already was the Dark One at which point they are probs about the same age
