Day two on Pandora. Nobody here's used to seeing a Siren. Half the people I've met wanna worship me--the other half wanna turn me over to Hyperion. Still, it's a nice change of pace from the abbey--at least here the bad guys stab you from the front. I haven't found a shred of info about Sirens--the closest I've got to a lead on Siren history are legends of an alien Vault. It's not much to go on, but it's something--maybe if I find this Vault I'll find out where the hell Sirens come from. Or maybe I'll prove Brother Harker right and take a bullet to the head five minutes from now. We'll see how my week goes.

@@dylanlv2 If you can trigger a voice line while another is playing, you skip the first one. He preloads echos in his inventory to trigger dialogue on demand. This allows him to speed up some sections that are slow because of dialogue.

As someone who only lightly watches speedruns it always amazes me watching someone beat the game faster than it takes me to get to sanctuary and still have it be open to improvements- This run is remarkable, however. I cannot imagine trying to pull off even a segment or two myself, let alone the whole game. Good work ^^

Genuine question: There’s only 75 skill points available in game, how has he spent 125? I’m assuming it’s a glitch and someone should totally link me that, but also, why is this allowed in the speedrun? Is it just a specific category?

yeah there's a glitch where if you're playing in a coop game and spend a skill point on the same frame the host kicks you from the game it duplicates, its only allowed in geared runs like this because of setting up the save beforehand so they allow it

@tellstoryy I have them unlocked from the previous playthroughs, you can skip the fridge since there's no mission objectives there so you can just travel go the next area

im so confused by the bl 2 speed run.. - soo.. you are aloud to have ANY weapon/gear in the game to start.. at which you can get from anywhere... to do a play through thats supposed to be the hardest part of the game.. - but with the gear you have... you literally dont have any issues just playing the game and beating it without any problems at all.. but THEN to boot.. you have to rocket jump.. using what kind of rocket launchers for the jump again? a lvl 10 badaboom.. which i would love to see the speed run to get that at level 10 legitimately for SURE.... why not just use the hack tool to get max speed and fly... why even use the mod created badabooms anyway lol

the difficulty comes from the rocket jumping movement not the combat, we use a set save file for this speedrun so everyone has a fair playing field
