WR Whoa! Black Widow Speedrun in

Don't think anyone's beating this legit!
Recorded this on patch 1.0.4 before my other recent runs and have since improved the route, so might have to go back and redo this at some point.
Going via the field station so I can make a spear, instead of going the route I did in this video, can save 10+ seconds, so with a more optimal ending this could definitely be a sub 3:30.

@@procraft1372REAL if you want to cheese the widow for parts get a range weapon and aggro the one by the castle and just jump in the tree's.

@@procraft1372REAL learn its attack and how to block them. might take a bit but they become pretty easy after you learn to block their attacks. also i think its lady bug armor that heals you with a perfect block incase you do get hit

Though in this particular instance idk if I would "count" this in the sense that I'm not sure if it registers as a death from your hand(? I would have loved it if you had shown the Data tab after you peep'd the corpse. If it said that you already had 1 kill, then fair play!

It's a bit finnicky but I think it could be consistent, did get patched though so have to go back to old patch to try it now. Could be sub 3:30 I think because I recorded this a while back before we came up with the new routes and jumps but this will definitely do for now haha

Yeee I practiced the fight a bit just the other day using some tips a viewer gave me and it's tricky but still doable I reckon. You're def screwed though if she manages to eat a widowling and get that speed boost

There was a bug on a previous patch where for some reason the widow would jump so high it would take fall damage when it landed and, as in the video, if it jumped up to the leaf and you stood in the right spot it would try to jump down to you but would keep landing on the leaf and taking damage, jumping itself to death. I just tried to kill the black widow and it was suprisingly very easy at first i had lady bug armor with 30 milkshakes to se how it is then i just did it with no armour and a level 5 ant club just perfect blocking all its attacks
