I bought a used 2021 392. I’m not sure if mine is XR or not.

Non Xr came from the factory on 33" tires. Also there is a little extra trim piece that extends off the side of the fenders to cover a slightly wider tire. On the XR It sticks out about 1/2" on all fenders.

What’s the elevation where you live? And the non-XR is fine, get what you can afford at the time you find them available is my philosophy on the Wrangler 392’s because most people will take them apart and get new arms and lifts anyways BUT! I will say the 4.56 gears are kinda nice if you wanna run a 38 or bigger right from the show room floor

Agree. the lower gears are great for up-sizing tires. The things that make the XR "better" are not even noticeable on the street. Those upgrades are geared towards offloading.

@@2kviper877 I think you would really enjoy the features of the JL Tazer mini. Especially the rwd option is really loose in that sand you drive around on and it would be really fun. Plus you save your transfer case all that unnecessary use. Mind you, you can always through the vehicle back into awd at anytime
