Now this is what I love to see! 120k miles! I’m fortunate enough to own a decent amount of cars, many of them “exotic” Somehow I’ve never driven a Viper. I always loved how the gen 2 GTS look, but the rt10 have really grown on me over the years. So much so, that I’m debating buying one. Like you. I use all of my cars. I live in the mountains, and most of my fun driving is around tight corners. My favorite car I own is my lotus Elise. It handles on rails, I bought it new and it currently has 88k miles. I know it really well. My main concern with a viper is how it would behave around tight corners….. Another concern is the roof leaking. It’s nice to hear you didn’t experience that with the factory roof. My Elise is miserable outside of tight canyon roads. On the freeway it’s super darty, the lack of torque and wind drag also make it beyond annoying for any real distance. I feel long drives in an rt10 would be fine given some of my other cars I can tolerate on long cruises.

I beat mine up pretty good but I try to keep it clean as well especially after swamping. Most of Florida and especially So. Florida is limestone and the "Lye" that leaches out of it is highly corrosive. It attacks the metals almost immediately, and will discolor and eat away at parts. And it destroys stuff really fast. That and the sand is " Sugar sand", super small grains so it gets into everything as well. I have a loud clicking sound coming from underneath the Jeep now only in reverse, so I'm bringing it in for warranty work next week. After it's fixed I'll install the tazer.

I haven't asked the dealership about the issue yet. Wondering whats going on ... keep on✌️ jeeping, 🍻

@2KV-iper Thanks for responding, I love your videos. Honestly, that weird cricket sound winds down, but it becomes more silent than completely gone. 100% agree. I sold my TJ to buy my ‘17 JKU. I loved the TJ but it just wasn’t set up for road trips. Dependability, fuel economy and comfort for three played a part in my decision. Things happened after that, and now I’m in my second Gladiator (my 5th Wrangler based Jeep). The longest trips I’ve taken have been The Keys and Gatlinburg. The rest are local (Central Florida) trips. Open air on a back country road is a feeling that can’t be beat. Cheers!
