for the plastic chain line you can follow the water pipe, the big tracks can't pass the water pipe already.

for ramps up steep hills, if you use levelling designations with a small dumping area at the edges, you won't have that sort of issue at the end. Also, the trucks will dump right next to the excavator so you don't need as many trucks. A small sliver of dumping is usually enough as the material falls down the side

I don't know, when I was testing the original ramp going to the iron mine, I frequently experienced a lot of spillage. Basically on the steeper parts, even a tiny bit of dumping ended up disturbing the slopes enough to cause an avalanche. The higher up this happened, the more I ended up having to dump to fix the mistake. So now I just go for mining exclusively when I dig a ramp.

Looks like you still have a good amount of smaller trucks rolling around... maybe do some up grades to the mega trucks will help with them being so busy?

As it turns out, I will have to downgrade trucks to fix the logistics issues. Basically, since the smaller trucks can carry smaller loads, they get called to move the stone/dirt/slag/etc, and the mega dumpers will just sit idle, and only get called to action when it's already an emergency. I'll end up downgrading the free roaming mega trucks, and that will pretty much fix things. It was a bit counter intuitive, but it worked for me. Plus the big guys cannot carry unit-products, only aggregates and liquids. That's also a pretty big limiting factor. They are great inside mines, but outside, not as much.

If you set up nuclear and arc furnaces 2 you wont have to worry about coal :) this arrangement cuts coal demand by like 95%

Nuclear should come in a week or so, at least fingers crossed. I'll need to do some pollution cleaning before then. :)
