It’s so refreshing to see normal amount of gifts for the kids. All other KZbin videos I watched have probably 20 gifts per child, which I think is probably too much for them to even enjoy the gifts anymore…

My kids are teens now, but we have done the same thing for wrapping gifts for years now. I buy two new rolls of wrapping paper every year. One for each kid. I wrap everything as it arrives or is bought and put it under the tree. The girls don’t know which wrapping paper belongs to who. They’re also not allowed to touch the presents once they’re under the tree. Otherwise they disappear! 😉 On Christmas morning at the bottom of their stockings will be an envelope with their wrapping paper in it. That’s how they find out which presents are theirs. Makes for a little extra magic. I use the leftover paper from previous years to wrap other gifts for grandparents, nieces, nephews, etc.

I have always had a specific wrapping paper for each of us ( only because it’s easier to pass out gifts Christmas morning and I don’t have to write tags, I’m lazy that way.)😁 The paper I do get last several years though.

I wrap presents as we buy them. We have a lot of grandsons if I don't wrap them immediately I forget which grandson I bought them for. My hubby buys them and I wrap them. We are a good pair for sure.

This year I matched my wrapping paper to my decor theme. In my living room I did the red and black buffalo check decor and all my wrapping paper matches the room 😂

I make my girls help me wrap some presents and leave some for the night before. they help me put the gifts under the tree and then they get to pick a candy cane from the tree. This year I decided not to wrap any gifts. most are in boxes and gift bags and hopefully next year when my pregnancy is over ill start wrapping gifts again. im glad im not the only one who uses old wrapping paper that was left on the rolls.

Hi Allie! I’m older and our family is very large. I start shopping in October, and start wrapping after Thanksgiving. I buy about 40 gifts. Am very organized, have a list of each person, what I’m getting them, when it comes in and when it goes under the tree.

I hope you find your motivation for KZbin again in 2022. I always come back to your videos…. I know you love your Thieves cleaner but what about trying some other all natural products and doing reviews? Maybe a series where you deep clean certain parts of your house- one video is all the bathrooms, then the next is the kitchen/dining room, then your living spaces, then the bedrooms. It can be a “2022 refresh/restart” and give us your tips/encouragement for starting the year with a fresh home. And even an undecorate Christmas video…. But if I’m being so honest, the last video where you just pulled out the camera and recorded that days mess was one of my favorites. I think those videos are so relatable. I hope you enjoy your holiday with your kids and I really look fwd to more motivation soon.

I love that you don't go super crazy overboard. they got the coolest stuff! much more realistic and from the heart, in my opinion. I do buy paper every year, but I get it the day after christmas for my grandkids for the following year. your house will be so fun christmas morning! and the mini brands, i'm as obsessed with them as my granddaughter is 😂❤️ I have lots of fun with these sweet kiddos. oh, and I wrap as I buy, so ahead of time! Usually I just use whatever wrapping paper I have, but this year, my daughter will be 3 in January so I let her pick out her wrapping paper. She chose all silver with textured lines and I chose red and black plaid for my 4 month old son and other family members.

I always do a theme, I love to wrap presents and I love ribbon and embellishments. This year I did gold, cream and emerald green, also love the brown Kraft paper with cream chunky yarn as ribbon :) Merry Christmas.

I usually buy new wrapping paper each year. My daughter is 6 and she is very observant. I feel like she would know if I used the same paper before. I try to get matching paper that comes in a pack. This way I can do same colors but different patterns. Our theme usually changes each year and I try to coordinate the paper to the theme. Santa also brings us a new pair of matching jammies each year which I try to keep with the theme. One year was the Grinch and another was Rudolph... ect. I do keep bags and bows if I can reuse them. I also do not use bows or tags on Santa presents but after watching yours I feel like I should. Merry Christmas!

Hi Allie, I'm the type that waits and rushing to get presents wrapped. This year I told myself (literally all year long)that I'm going to have presents bought, wrapped, and put under the Christmas Tree 1 week before Christmas and here we are a couple days before Christams and I have them bought and most of them wrapped...but not all of them lol...almost made it😅thank you for the video. My husband and I buy new rolls of wrapping paper for our kids (girl 9 years old and boy 6 years old) and we wrap their gifts from Santa in that wrapping paper for them but we also get rid of it every year so they don't find it. We will use old wrapping paper or if we find some really cute and new wrapping paper we will buy it and use that for gifts for family or for gifts we are getting our kids which is usually only 1 or 2 gifts each. I keep all gift bags and tissue paper (if it's all saveable) anytime we get any. Thanks for such a good video! :) Happy Holidays!

I’m surprised that so many people choose one print of wrapping paper for each person. When I was a kid I loved the variety of paper I got to open, so now I do variety for all my kids as well. But I can see the advantages of using one type of paper for each kid. To each his own.☺️ I also don’t worry about a theme or that the colors are coordinated. I think adults care more about details like that than kids do. Maybe when they are older I’ll start doing that. But I also don’t like to be wasteful with my paper so🤷🏻‍♀️

I am the type of person who usually starts wrapping a couple weeks before and will do a few at a time after my kids go to bed. I’m the type of person I do all of our family presents basically as soon as my tree is up, usually on November 1st. Santa gifts are Christmas Eve though! And I’m having my mom help me this year.🥰 I also pick a different color theme every year for my wrapping. This year it’s aqua blue, black, white and silver. Last year it was all grays and white and the year before that it was red Buffalo check and greens.

I am a late November to first week to December present buyer and i wrap a few days after i buy the presents... Definitely not a Christmas Eve wrapper (unless there is something that a forgot to buy last minute - normally alcohol, which goes in a bag so that isn't difficult) BUT Christmas Eve is for prepping food and then relaxing while watching carols on TV 💖
