Hi Christian. Thanks to your videos. I just wraped for my 1st time my complete M3 F80 with brack brush and kept the grain all along. It came out excellent. Thanks to all your hard work and videos. I watched most of your videos and kept to all your advices. Thanks and keep the hard work going. Love from South Africa.

Christian....that New Satin Black looks great on Shaun 's car. Perfect color and vinyl the lays very well. Your floors look fantastic ! Some people may have glossed over how nice it is when you get the floors epoxied. One, it looks like a million, two, nothing looks as nice and clean as epoxied floors. They clean up really well also. I had my 3 car polebarn done 3 years ago and 3 years later i can't believe how well it has held up. I remember the first time I pulled in with one of my cars and turned the wheels on the newly epoxied floor. I had the windows down, and the sound of the tires on that floor made me jump. I clean mine with a citrus cleaner and it turns out great. Great video. Hmmmmmm...... I'm LQQN for the doggie bed, and don't see it just yet. Must be off camera LOL. Ü My best, Scott

Another excellent video, Christian. Apparently 3M does not warranty wrap removal on paint that was more than five years old when the wrap was applied. What has your experience been removing quality wrap which has been on a car for 3 or 4 years and which was put on the car with factory paint more than 5 years old? Thanks very much.

Keep up the great jobs on your video's ck.. Question? You were talking about the vehicle being old..I think you said 09 or 2010..anyway.. I have am 02 Lincoln with a original finish from the factory..car was always keepped clean..now here is the question, will the wrap be harder to do b.c the car is older. Or is wrapping all the same no matter the year of the vehicle.. On a side note..watching you encourages me to want to wrap my own car..and I haven't wrapped nothing before in my life..
@jeffreyvarner68305 жыл бұрын
Mohamed, the age of the car really has very little to do with wrapping. Age typically has more to do with miles driven and overall condition of the paint...eg...lots of rock chips, door dings etc. More attention to preparation may be needed, especially where you might want adhesion for tucking/rolling over edges.

The resale of a new luxury car that was wrapped is considerably higher than one that wasn't. When that wrap comes off for the new owner, the surface will have minimal damage, paint will not have been subject to UV degradation. Chris should do a video on a car that was wrapped 3 years vs one that wasnt of the same year and compare the condition of the car.
@nssdesigns5 жыл бұрын
@@VViViDVINYLS good to know. I live in Scandinavia. It gets really cold here like -25°C easy. How do wraps hold up in extreme environments?
@VViViDVINYLS5 жыл бұрын
@@nssdesigns If it was wrapped and properly cured ( wrap needs a couple hours of heat to fully cure. Leaving it in a heated garage will work). It will last just fine, in montreal we have many weeks on -30+ and most of the cars CK wraps are subject to this weather as well. The heat is actually more detrimental to wraps than the cold.

@@c7uk Removing really old ppf can be a very daunting task, the labor involved in removing it and any adhesive residue can take twice as long as the original hood wrap. It also serves as protection from rock chips since wraps are thinner and more prone to damage.
