Yes! We actually open all the gifts from my husband and I on Christmas Eve, and then Santa brings the gifts/fills the stockings for Christmas morning. And every other year when our first oldest four are at the other parents’ homes blended family here), we open gifts from us the weekend before when we’re all together, and the kids open up gifts from Santa when they come home in the afternoon on Christmas Day. We let my youngest daughter decide if she wants to wait and open Santa gifts with her siblings or as soon as she wakes up-so far she’s always chosen as soon as she wakes up, which is just fine too. 💕 we make the most of the time we get together!

Yes that sounds like a wonderful schedule. It does get complicated with blended families. My oldest goes home for like a week some times for Christmas (we live far from his dad) so we carry on as normal and then do his gifts when he gets home. I love the idea of doing y’all Christmas gifts the night before and Santa’s the next day.

I can't wait to wrap gifts for kids in the hospital when I'm much older enough (only 17 will be 18 in February) I love giving back I always want to make a difference for people less fortunate than me but I'm too young right now I can't get out into the world like I want and visit homeless shelters, foster care centers, kid hospitals and ect

We open with my nephew on Christmas eve. But all the rest Christmas morning. Growing up, mom and dad would let us open one gift on Christmas eve. Hope you have a great Holiday with the kids and your husband. I bought some of your favorite energy drinks from Target tonight. Thanks for sharing.

Merry Christmas beautiful friend. I love to wrap. I was the one bk in the day that would do the wrap stations in the malls. Lol. My kids always opened up our Christmas jammies the night b4 that way we all matched for Christmas day. When i was little we opened nothing Christmas eve. We went to church. Christmas day mom and dad wrapped everything except what was from 🤶 🧑‍🎄 Such great memories. 💜💜💜💜

Yes 5 is a lot and that can be more of a bonding time for you two. I didn’t mind doing it alone this year and watching my true crime shows. But most of the time he does help me too 🥰
