I got lots of great gifts, but my fav was a painting I got of my fur baby, my dog, Asher. Sadly, I lost my best friend on Thanksgiving day and I miss him so much, my heart physically hurts. I love the stockings that my mother-in-law puts together for us every year. There are certain items that are in there every year; socks (I got Grinch socks this year!), lottery tickets, calendars, lip balm, etc., and then a few different things!

Merry Christmas sweet, beautiful girl!!!! You're just so sweet and funny!!!! I'm sort of glad Christmas is over. My best friend of 37 years passed away 3 years ago on Christmas morning. It always brings a sadness to my heart. My grandkids had a lovely time!!! They're teenagers so it got expensive this year but it was worth it!!! I love stockings!!!!! Here in Hamilton, ON we got to spend the day with family before we go into lockdown on boxing day. So I was grateful to spend the say with my family (we have stayed apart except for Thanksgiving) and spend time with my nieces and nephews❤ I had always grown up being told I was Heinz 57 until I got my Ancestry DNA kit. It turns out I am British, Scottish and Irish! My dad passed away on Sept 26 2008 at the age of 60 and a week after he passed away I found out by chance that he might of fathered a child when he was 19 while he was up north logging that he never knew about. He had been asking my mom to marry him, the met when she was 16 and he was 18....and she had no interest well 2 years later on Sept 16, 1978 they married😊 and I was born the following year.❤ He unfortunately passed away 10 days after their 40th anniversary, but thankfully he wasn't in pain any more. Ok back to the original story....lol....sorry guys I squirrel lol....I had done the DNA kit 2 previously so her husband got her the kit for Christmas that year so 6 months later (the results take a long time to come through) I found out that she is most definitely my sister. I am sad that she never got to meet Dad but so happy to know that I have an older sister❤ We like to think that he brought us together. That is the most amazing gift Samantha, the more people that do it the more the results grow....I have no idea how to describe it....Even 4 years 4 years after doing the kit my family members are still growing!
