LAST MINUTE GIFT IDEAS -glas with notes "Why I love you", "Reasons why you're my best friend" -gift card (Gym membership, supermarket, massage, hair dresser, cinema, shops, etc) -matching necklaces/ necklace with initials -heating blanket/ pillow -weighted blanket -wooden tray with 'legs' (so you can eat in bed/ on couch) (got mine from ikea. Its called RESGODS) -self made cookies/ candles -painting ceramics together (buy for example white mugs and paint them, or book a course) -self made cook book with you favorite recipes/ recipes that reminds you of them -(romantic) dinner (cooking favorite dish together, maybe candle light, watch a movie, make popcorn etc) -phone cases/ screen protector -plants/ bouquet

For wrapping. To get the right size on the sides bring the wrapping paper up to the halfway point of the side. So then when they all fold over it will cover the whole thing. My mom taught me that and it makes wrapping so much easier

To know how much paper you need to wrap the sides, fold the wrapping paper where it’s half way up the box (or whatever you’re wrapping) and then measure on the other side however much is half way up the box and that’s where you know where to cut!

A tip for wrapping, for the sides of the box that you mentioned you struggle with having too much paper, before you start, measure halfway up the item you are wrapping with the paper and that is how much paper you will need to cover the ends.

I am exactly the same way! I always take notes on what people mention throughout the year. If I don't get everything on the list I will save the list and add to it for the next year.

I have a trick to the sides. before you cut trace your hand along the edge of the present when you get to the end start pushing the paper and when you’re far enough that it covers that’s where you cut. if that makes sense at all also before you go to tape the end fold the tip so it’s not a pointed side

I think the sides is always the trickiest part about wrapping a present. But I think watching a KZbin video helps, sometimes it can be time consuming.

I 'always' get my grandparents those kind of random giftcards from places, like manicure/ pedicure or massages, the hairdresser or stuff like that. Sometimes the normal prices are so high, you wouldn't buy it for yourself, but maybe you would go there, if you only pay half the price/ someone gifted it to you. And honestly, soo many people forget to treat themself, so massages are always a winning gift (Trust me. Been there, done that) And for those, how are totally unsure what to get: Giftcards from your local grocery store. Sounds stupid in the beginning, but is actually so clever, because everybody need food and nowadays those prices just exploded (at least in Germany lol)

The way i see it is.. if the gift is wrapped and it isn't obvious what the gift is, then you wrapped it good enough. Also, i've been saying for years now that rolls of wrapping paper are too 'long' and this video confirmed that i am not the only person that cuts off a lot of the length. Also, i love my family dearly BUT sometimes i wish i had more females to buy for.. I buy for my Brother, Dad and Mum and i ALWAYS unintentionally get A LOT more gifts for Mum than i do for the boys AND THEN the ratios between gifts is way off and then i feel bad for not knowing what to get guys. It seems to work out in the end, i guess. I/everyone shouldn't put THAT much pressure on themselves. 💖
