Nope. Every time I have done it, the lights have been strategically placed so I could open all of the doors, hood, trunk, and gas door perfectly. Check out some of my later videos where I doubled the amount of lights.

Did it end up draining your battery or was it fine for the most part?

Nah it wasn't bad because the lights are LED's. If you look at later videos I actually doubled the amount of lights and it still worked out fine.

I just got them off of Amazon. There are a ton of companies on there selling them. Make sure that you get ones that are for outdoors.

Did the tape cause any paint troubles?

It wasn't bad. I think the thing that saved me, though, was that I keep the car in storage most of the time so it saw very little sun and also I hadn't cleaned the car before we did it, so it wasn't a super strong hold. I made another video later about it.
