Wrapping Small Boxes | Keiko Furoshiki Wrapping Tutorials

Since our furoshiki are one size (for now!), we often get questions about how to wrap small gifts, like boxes of jewelry or small toys. While it's true that the smaller the gift, the smaller the furoshiki should be, the fun thing about more fabric is that you can make more embellished knots!

Take a furoshiki, lay it squarely on the table, and place your item in the middle. Fold the furoshiki over it from the bottom and from the top, making sure you've covered the whole item and there are no gaps. From this flattened "tube", tie two knots on either side of the item. This will make the item and the furoshiki stays put and doesn't slide around.
From there, gather your ends into the middle and secure with a rubber band. Tuck the ends into the band to make petals and fan them out to make a little floral puff.
