Meh.. I’m usually a huge fan of the Cherry Blossom colorway.. but definitely prefer the CBR… 50-NICE’s STI did the CB-Red and not CB-Pink , still looks good tho! 👍

Makes me wonder with the new WRX on the subaru global platform if it’s possible to get away from the rotor hub spacer by using a Subaru Ascent front rotor. In theory has the correct offset but you would need to check clearance for the rotor and caliper for the extra 1/8” in radius. Something I would be happy to drive down to the shop and do some R&D for everyone for a bolt on upgrade.

Finding a perfect match for cherry blossom red is harder than you think. But we got pretty darn close to the OG STI color.

The spacers we used were custom milled for our setup. Since we aren't planning on releasing a kit for this we can't speifically say what we used.

This setup is more cost effective than a STI brake setup and easier to get a hold of. We wanted to show other options people have.

Japanese cherry blossom trees have "blossoms" that are both red AND pink. that is NOT the Subaru STI cherry blossom red! it may be the pink color of the blossoms tho... i do however like the pink!

If you look at older examples of the heritage Subaru Cherry Blossom color, we are very close to matching. Although Subaru updated the color at some point, the color that we chose is in line with the Subaru Cherry Blossom aesthetic.

Cobb is till good...everyone has to play by the new Fed/CARB laws or get burned hard. Keep emissions stuff in place and you're golden. the "off-road use only" thing doesn't fly anymore...just like the "down in Mexico" charade

wow, the flares give the car a "6 inch lift" look; yuck. calipers look nice. wheels look nice for being "old' factory wheels. now, you just need some cherry blossom tree limbs floating down the sides of the car (hint: there was a white WRX/STI at a recent Subaru ? Fest that had the cherry blossom theme on point; you should find it (the video that is) and go that direction. Or, maybe a cherry blossom flower "stripe" down the sides; or across the hood; or across the trunk; but where ever, you need more cherry blossoms to tie the car together........

This car is an ugly duckling for sure. It does not photograph well, but seeing it in person at the dealer, it is much more appealing. The black trim doesn't bother me, but I do think it will look better painted. Like what you guys are doing with it so far, looking forward to the rest of the build.
