You should! It’s so much fun to revisit an old flame. I remember when I was just getting into board games, this was the first big box game I bought. We played it so many times and it led me to discover other great dungeon crawls. Descent, shadows of Brimstone, Gloomhaven, and more all ended up on my shelves because of this game. It isn’t the best, but it still holds a place of honor on my shelf!

This should be great to see how you manage the game but agree that the age of the game shows in the repeatability category. It is one that if I want a dungeon crawl and haven't played in a while I wouldn't mind taking it down however. Look forward to the rest of the videos and glad you haven't painted the minis either..... I am not alone there lol

These games are great. Minis alone are worth the sets. I have all. You can change the rules to make all the sets quite harder. A lot of versatility that can be done. Keep up the great work.

I’m tempted to buy another version to add some life back into the base game. Which one do you like best?

@@SoloMcLaughlin Castle Ravenloft. Dungeon of Mad Mage. There are lot of ideas you can come up with combing sets etc. Make your own adventures. These games can be played solo, multi and someone playing as DM, like Descent. Keep up the great work. You have excellent explanations of rules and your variants of games are great. These are worth the money. Tile sets, Mini's ,cards etc.

Very interesting - quite a decent price for all that content, I'd say. I'm looking forward to a playthrough. 👍 Also, do you by any chance know how this holds up against other games like Bag of Dungeon and Gloomhaven? 🤔

I'd say this has the same theme/feel of Gloomhaven. But it doesn't have the character growth and immersive campaign. It is 10,000 times easier to get to the table but feels more like a board game while Gloomhaven feels more like an RPG/epic adventure.

@@SoloMcLaughlin Ah, I see. Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe it's a bit closer to Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion', although that has the special card mechanic. Thanks for showing the game to us! 😎
