Since discovering Ulduar in the Storm Peaks, adventurers have journeyed to the titan city to learn more about its mysterious past. Further exploration has revealed that the magnificent complex is above all a prison, intended to permanently confine the Old God of death, Yogg-Saron. This ancient horror has corrupted its guards, and now it is breaking through the last of its restraints. Faced with the peril of Yogg-Saron's imminent freedom, a band of mortals has made preparations for a sweeping assault on the city. Overcoming the legions of iron minions and towering defenses at the city's entrance will take tremendous strength, but even that great victory may not be enough to overcome the madness that dwells below.

It's interesting to see how Jaina and Varian switched paths since than. Jaina once wanted peace between the Horde and Alliance while Varian wanted them all exterminated. Fast Forward to MoP and Varian learned to tolerate the horde while Jaina lost everything to a mana bomb and has been bitter towards the Horde ever since.

Varian vs Garrosh, now this is a duel I would have liked to see to its conclusion. Warrior vs Warrior, Alliance vs Horde, Orc vs Human, Gorehowl vs Shalamayne. It's sad knowing that these two warriors, the best in their factions, are now dead. One went out like a hero, the other like a villain, but both are missed.

Don't be so harsh on Warcraft's cinematic. It's an MMO of old, back then player models were only meant to do one thing - kill mobs or die. It doesn't even compare when it comes to single player benchmark games from 2009. The Classic models remember times of Warcraft III Frozen Throne, and even though Varians model was a custom one, he was still modeled on the old 2003 Human model. Does it look bad? Not to me really, it was good in its environment, on the old world surroundings and vanilla items, but they were simply not made to be animated in a custom way, so they had to make their faces more high resolution, giving this kinda weird feeling when compared with current content, but it's unfair to degrade them as playdohs.

The Dwarves are master archaeologists and know more about the lore of the world than pretty much everyone else excluding the Night Elves. It's not a horde world, the horde was founded by the alliance

This dark and mysterious fantasy envirment was the best I beleive there isnt that kinda thing anymore story kinda going odd this heroism and fantasy became something else sadly all cuz of warcraft 3 story ended in WoW after WotLK :( it is sad that they cant make good stories...then they should do repeat better ones with little development on them (like WotLK TBC etc.) Overall we dont have old feeling and mystery in game...

Lemmi Winks Sorry to burst your bubble, but the Christopher Lee/Lei Shen deal was just a rumor; his true voice actor is named Paul Nakauchi. However, as for the Sha, it is interesting to note that we have possibly not seen the last of them. Yogg-Saron's final words were recently revealed to translate to "The shadow of my corpse will shake this land for all eternity." What this means exactly we can't be sure, but considering what happened all those eons ago with Y'Shaarj it's very probable that this means Northrend will, in due time, become infested with a new breed of Sha.

Orion Crawford well, the sha were named after y'SHAarj, so that's probably specific to him. also, it is likely that yogg saron isn't actually dead. it took the titans to take out y'shaarj.

John Jackson As I mentioned above, Yogg-Saron's final words specifically a "corpse" (however, when I mentioned 'shake', that was a typo; it was suppose to say 'choke.'). Whether this is metaphorical or not I can't say, but assuming he's being literal than Yogg-Saron is physically dead.
