The Chief The Forsaken used to be a part of the Scourge but managed to get freed from the Lich Kings grasp during the events of Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. Together with the Horde they aimed to destroy the Lich King and the Scourge. the band of Forsaken you saw in this video was a rouge group who worked together with a dread lord. In fact they went and took over the capital of Undercity which forced the other Horde races and the actual Forsaken to strike back and take them out.

Wrong, Robert. Yes, to normal plague Death Knights and Paladins are immune, but this is an especially deadly magical plague that Putress developed with the assistance of Varimathras to kill not only Scourge but living as well. So it basically hit through immunities.

Watching this still gives me shivers. My mates had already leveled ahead of me and saw this cutscene a few days before me, and that weekend we were at a LAN. Keep in mind Putress and his lackeys were traitors to the Forsaken, acting without Sylvanas' orders. Putress and his rebellious partner, Varimathras, who was Sylvanas' former second in command, are both killed soon after this for their treason. Sylvanas and true Forsaken loyal to her and the Horde did not want this to happen.

Ultimaton100 The only reason she didn't want this to happen is because SHE DIDN'T WANT TO BE EXPOSED. Sylvanas is lining up to become The Lich Queen. She was the one setting all this up to begin with, Putress just jumped the gun and drew attention to it all and she used him as a scapegoat. Sylvanas has no loyalty to the Horde, and as long as the Horde continues to shelter her, they are responsible for whatever horrors she unleashes on everyone.

Kayriel Wrong, very very wrong. You Alliance fans sure love to compare Sylvanas to the Lich King without having any facts at all to support such insanity. The Lich King enslaved masses of undead. Sylvanas gives them a choice to serve or not. The Lich King sought to destroy all life. Sylvanas is only exterminating threats to her people. Sylvanas did order the creation of the New Plague, intended as a weapon against the Scourge and the living enemies of the Forsaken such as the Scarlets and the Alliance. Sylvanas is an anti-hero, not a villain. She does questionable things for a good cause. The Alliance on the other hand started the war and waged it for no other reason than racism, and even the Draenei and Alliance Pandaren share blame for the atrocities of their allies.

We get *tons* of Orcs, Humans, Night Elves, Blood Elves, Dwarves, and Tauren involved in the story line (aside from leaders)... the only times I see other races, is when they're a part of the Earthen Ring or under another neutral faction consisting of multiple races (doesn't count imo) Blizz needs to start showing love for *all* the races, and not just their favorites -.-

***** She wasn't exactly "made known"... as in, about the only ones that know about her were the humans (a very low number of them) and the Forsaken. She wasn't even brought to the attention of the other members of the Horde, let alone the Alliance. Don't get me wrong, I loved her back story and I wish Blizz would have made her a recurring character, possibly even a major lore character... alas, we hardly even hear about her after your Forsaken leaves Tirisfal... Would be pretty epic if Blizz decided to make her into a Shadow Ascendant (and give Shadow Ascendants a proper model...) for WoD or a future x-pack and be the commander of a segment of the Forsaken in a new land.

Yeah ik ;w; giant viking soldiers who are infinitely more skilled in combat than undead. But alas, the might of both horde and alliance killed them :p Quite honestly, the Vrykul are a very powerful species. Would be cool to play as one.

Keith O'Leary At the moment, I'm partially convinced that due to the similarities between Vrykul and norse/nordic languages, if we could get someone who speaks said languages to transcribe what they hear and then compare it to what we know we might get an answer. Personally, though, I'd think he'd be shouting something along the lines of "for the Death God" or something.

God this makes me miss Wrath so much. I love what they are doing with WoW currently, but Wrath just had this melancholy tone and atmosphere. It's hard to describe, but everything from the Northrend zones, to its story, characters and narratives had a certain dark beauty to them.
