@@NotARussianDisinfoBot I left towards the end Of Cataclysm. Not many expansions compared to you lot I know. But it sounds like Cataclysm sparked the downfall of WoW. TBC are my best memories of WoW, followed my Wrath of the Lich King. I've thought about delving back into it all again, however my characters are long gone now. What do you reckon to the upcoming expansion? It seems and looks more like the good old days. Was Shadowlands so bad that its lost even more loyal fans?

@@LPeck1985 if you want the old feeling back forget it. wow is a COMPLETELY different game compared to bc, wotlk or cata. you really cant compare those anymore. objectively its still a good and well made game. it has its flaws as everything has. the problem is less with the game itself that people shittalk these days and more with the drama surrounding blizzard and the inability for the devs to listen to players. things get shipped completely broken onto the beta, EVERYONE tells blizzard its broken but they decide to ship it anyways. time and time again they proved that they are not able to listen to their community and bring features in that people dont want, are broken or get nerfed the fun out of it and they put player power behind it that you still need to do it. but with the general gameplay there is not really anthing wrong and it still has one of the smoothest gameplay controls and the endgame content is fun and well made. dungeons, the new mythic + system, raids and pvp are always well made and fun. but again completely different game compared to back then. in a month they will release wotlk classic servers tho. pretty much the same version of wotlk as back then that you can play again if that is more your cup of tea. the community got toxic as shit especially in the classic servers and its full of boosters/bots. tbc was my nostalgia expansion but i quit it super early because classic imo has the most toxic community in all of gaming. worse than overwatch worse than league of legends. in the short time i played tbc classic i encountered the most elitist arrogant assholes in my 20 years of gaming :D
