Technically nephew yes. Wrathion's mother was one of Deathwing's children making him Deathwing's grandson and Sabellian, Nefarian and Onyxia his uncles and aunt. Ebyssian on the other hand is not directly confirmed to be Deathwing's son and could just be calling him "father" in a more metaphorical sense. Not too sure about the family realtion there.

Or Xal'atath becoming a powerful old god again. There was a mention of 5 old gods that landed on Azeroth in one of the the Zskara Vaults lore books that you can find and it's been stated that Xal'atath is most likely a claw from an old god. It's pretty obvious. Blizzard's writers aren't smart enough to bring N'zoth back with that time travel subplot from Thaldraszus.

The whispers are likely from the Echo of Neltharion, since they lessen when in visage form and thus are more ‘in tune’ in dragon form. Plus, they effect Wrathion and Sabellian equally, despite the former being far more resistant to Void than the latter.

@@danscga2487 Azeroth was damaged when Amanthul ripped out Y’shaarj because he literally ripped out a tumor- a big one- causing that great bleeding wound the titans formed into the Well of Eternity. N’zoth was destroyed by a precision laser from the Forge of Origination. (designed by the titans to obliterate all life on Azeroth, and probably not enough to kill the Old Gods when used normally since part of the plan to trigger it during Ulduar and during Cata was to wipe the slate clean of us annoying mortals). The power of the Forge was channeled through our Heart of Azeroth right in N’zoth’s core, annihilating him completely without damaging the world.

This two. Wrathion and Sabellion are most fun I had in this game since Flynn Fairwind in BFA. I don't see any bad blood between them, just rivarly and it is fun. It's actually only fun I have in this expansion storywise There could be ne fun momemnt they could have done with Veritistrasz and his story of covering Alextrahsza's tail with honey. Would really like to see Alextrazsa going through this hahaha. But they missed oportunity for short, easy to make, in game vid of that. Blizzard is on it's best when they don't take themselves too seriously as they now, what it feels like ages

the sibbling energy of these guys is respectable, remind me of my sibblings in which case i would find my self in ebonhorn position seeing his 2 brothers fighting each other however in the case of my age i am basically wrathion considering i am the youngest of the 3. my brothers would fight each other vocalbly and physically but in the end they both care for each other. (thankfully my mom would be there to set them straight, either with a chancla or a belt or in rare ocassion with a mop or a broom... latina moms are not to be mess with...)

I hate to be that guy but the world's overall strength from WoTK to let's say BFA has increased significantly. I am sure with the Death Knights massively recruiting, the fact the order halls I am pretty sure are canon, and the fact we pushed them back with a reasonable distance in the pre patch event allowed for them to be dealt with in the meantime this is all happening. We don't have the Horde or the Alliance's armies with us either at all in Dragonflight just a bunch of explorers that wouldn't matter much in a war so those are available as well lore wise. Also the scourge isn't infinite either, as long as no more are infected/raised there should be less and less to fight.

I mean, that was literally what happened in the Shadowlands prepatch though. That was the whole point of it. Bunch of Undead to kill on Northrend and ghouls everywhere around the capital cities. There was also the San'layn incident in Eversong Forest lateron. So yes, it was made a plot point. Maybe not one as big as appropriate in the lore, but you can't expect it to disrupt the game forever. I certainly would rather they move on with the story than play another undead expansion where we just play worldwide cleanup.

There are plenty of full grown dragons and multitudes of drakes in Valdrakken, not too mention the very adventurers that Iridikron is wary of. Attacking the city would go very badly very quickly.

finally the lore is teaching more about dragons.. to be honest we never knew anything about neltarion and we really never understand what made him into nzoth grasp.. so, acording to this.. he just get corrupted cuz he was working near the earth and them he hear the wispers cuz all of his work was in danger.. now to be clear.. i love the interactions but i dont like how strong caracters act like kids.. sabelian for example.. he is a lot older than eby and wration.. and he act like the little brother..

That's how prideful he is, he in someways is basically his father in alot of ways my theory is, a strong character but has a short temper likely being triggered more by the whispers throwing him off. I always figured the Visages they take on have something in common with their mannerisms. For one a Tauren is very paticent and slow to lose thier temper but when they lose it watch out, while well humans you know how that is, counts on the person. Afterall while he means well and is more experienced than his brothers he still has his own flaws, but he's a strong enough individual to notice them and call himself out on them.

Another aspect of Neltharion's corruption was well...his aspect. It literally put the weight of Azeroth on his shoulders. Imagine that, the constant stifling weight of an entire planet/egg/whateverthehellAzerothis pressing down on you, no matter where you go or what you do. The other Aspects had it relatively good, barring Nozdormu knowing when, where, and how he dies and being unable to prevent it.

All this time before DF, Wrathion probably believed he was the only, and rightful heir to his flight's thrown, and was probably told that for years by someone, and his brother shows up to fight him for the thrown, and they bicker. They literally went to Alexstraza like a mom to bicker more lol. If not his brother, I feel if forced, Wrathion would probably give into the whispers.

After thinking things througj I agree with you that Wrathion could also give in if his brother won the throne as while he claims to do better than his father apple often falls not too far from the tree (his father or rather grandfarher) as desperation of unfulfilled dreams could drive him into Giving in. He is also still immature as he hadn't had time to grow up in normal way.

Ebyssian should be the true new black dragon aspect. The other two are ego driven, but Ebyssian wouldn't wish to be the aspect, which is why he'd be the best leader, he's humble.

It´s funny. WoW asks us, whom we would like to take over as the new Aspect of the Black Dragonflight, Wrathion or Sebellian, but to be honest, I don´t like either of them much. Wrathion has done some good with a lot of bad and I am pretty pissed, that he is not on trial for it. Sebellian himself says he was trying to drag the Black Dragonflight out of the gutter for eons, but that doesn´t mean, that he has good intensions, just that he has been trying to take over for a while now. Me, I´d want Ebyssian to take over. Pretty sure he would not try and tell the world, that they have to listen to him because... well why again Wrathion? Why is everyone supposed to listen to your bullshit? I seem to have forgotten the reason.

Nope, you want Ebyssian to take over and don't like Wrathion and Sabellion because I bet my left ball you are horde player and both Wrathion and Sabellion visage forms are humans. Wrathion is still perfect candidate. He did achieve good things, better ones then Sabellion and definetly better and more then that cow, but he still have hell of a lot to learn. And that is where every other aspect jumps in. Especially Alextrazsa and Nozdormu with hell of a lot of doze of Ysera even though, she is not an aspect anymore. There is no chance in hell Wrathion,Wrathion's agents,Sabellian or any black dragons under Sabellian can see Ebyssian as their leader. Ebyssian will play the role of the big brother and bring family together, dractyr included. Maybe will sacrifice his life for something great. He is shaping up to be the sacrifical martyr type of character. Then they will say some shit like black dragons don't need an aspect,that their strength lies in their family ties and have Wrathion and Sabellian as co-leaders.

@@anulire Wrathion would be a terrible leader for the flight. Sabellian kept the Blacks safe in Outland, cared for them and lead them like a proper leader. Wrathion caused two invasions of Azeroth, and never took care of the Black Flight compare to Sabellian.
