As someone whose favorite genre is racing, it's pleasant to be able to go through pretty much every racing review on IGN and hear your voice, it's obvious you have more than a solid grip on the genre and you always have great, full, helpful viewpoints on these!

I'm a a modest fan of racing games and WRC really got me with WRC5 way back in the day. I'm way more into arcade racers like Forza Horizon but WRC Generations really moved to try it sometime.

The worst part of old games 8-10 was inside cabin lighting, and Flickering/screen Door effect… those are thankfully fixed!!

It's a game worth getting, there's tons of content to keep you entertained plus the new rally1 cars etc. If you're a newcomer to rally games then this may be the perfect way to get you started.

@@dejawho4147 it's hard to describe, there's a bit of tactical elements to it by choosing the correct tyres, approach etc with different track surfaces. It all depends on your driving style might need a bit of tweeking until you find the right balance.

Saw the 'SAUSAGE' number plate & decided to share a meaningless fun fact. In the 1994 Safari Rally, Ian Duncan's Toyota Celica had 'the flying sausage' livery on it. This name was based on his sponsorship deal with a meat products manufacturer named 'Farmers Choice'. The car went on to win the rally that year. As a tribute, to this day, Farmers Choice have a 'Safari' 10 pack of sausages with a distinct picture of the car on the packaging. As for the sausages, they're quite delicious too. Make sure to try the 'Safari' Sausages if you ever visit Kenya.

Be patient itll be kinda hard at first but dont give up takes a couple of days to get fast if you havent played this type of game before same with dirt and all the other rally game

Start slow and build up your speed from there. Rally is incredibly difficult at first and it can be really easy to overextend your own limits. Worry about getting the car through the stage first, then worry about going fast later 👍

This game is wrecked with bugs rn and the license leaves Jan 2023. They took 2 weeks to release a patch on Xbox that didn't fix everything, we didn't get 48h access to the game and couldn't play it with a wheel until the 15th of November. Do NOT trust these developers. They took a two weeks off just to delete the previous update and bring one again 3 days ago and it still lacks anything WRC 9 had.

You need to use a skill point to unlock the Meteorologist then as above, upgrade this to max. Do this early on. Otherwise yeah, you're gonna have a rough time esp at Monte Carlo

Currently playing WRC10 & this looks pretty much the same. It's a motorized equivalent of FIFA & tbh - I'm loving it. Fan of the series for years, the fact that KT looses the license to EA keeps me worried.

It's hugely different than WRC 10. Handling is mostly improved and feels different. Graphics, lighting and colours especially, including performance optimisation has been improved significantly as well.

The locations thing is kinda an unfair comparison to DR2 because WRCG only has one track per location that is chopped up. DR2 has two tracks per location that is chopped up. Plus the whole Rallycross section of the game if you care about that

Lack of local game modes is still present. If you're not pro eRacer, all the extra stages and cars are essentially just for free play. Imagine if in F1 game you couldn't play a single Grand prix against other cars other than online. Makes no sense.

2k is 1440p not 1080p it's half of 4k not a quarter like he said in the video, 1440p is still a great experience especially if your a pc gamer that sits closer to a screen than your normal 4k TV player you would hardly see any difference, but you would definitely see the difference from 30fps to 60fps

in WRC Generations Gravel, Dirt and Snow feel very unrealistic. The cars are sliding like crazy. The cars feel too light and the smallest and lightest object you could imagine, can flip our car. for example, at the end of a rally there are the 2 "end" signs left and right. if your drive against it, the 1000kg car will not push it away. The fkn 1kg small sign will flip your car. And on Ice stages, the smallest scratch on a pile of snow left and right of the track also will flip your car.

Looks better than WRC 8 and WRC 9 which are exactly the same game. even with the exact same loading screens and stages, 9 was basically dlc, (with a worse co driver audio, too loud), on one of the stages the WRC 8 co driver was left in and said FINISH, it just didn't feel like a sequel. Better graphics though. These graphics look incredible.

Yes. There was a rumor that Codemasters already made (or still developing) Dirt Rally 3.0 but they were waiting because of WRC official license maybe they will change name of title not Dirt rally 3.0 Also EA changed the names of KZbin channels and every SNS things about Codemasters rally games to EA SPORT RALLY. EA will have WRC official license for 2023 to 2028.
