冬場で使われるタイヤは大雑把に２種類。 で〜モンテカルロの様なステージでは大半はスパイクタイヤをチョイスしてグリップ力を重要視する事でハンドル操作の負担が減る利点が有るが〜では〜弱点が無いのかと言えば２つ有る。 其の１つはターマックでの積雪やアイスバーンでは其れなりに効力をするがその分ピンの減りが早い〜高速走行になれば成る程路面に削られてピンの役目を果たせ無く成る〜そう成ればステージの完走自体が危く成る〜！！ タイヤの摩耗を抑える走行と成ると速度を落とした走行と成って行く事はタイムロスを生み出す危険も有り順位が落ちるし。 未だWRCラリーチーム自体ピレーリーのタイヤでの雪道での性能やアイスバーンでの効力のデーターも取れても居無いし信用も出来て居無い。 チーム方針はどっちを優先するかです。 スパイクタイヤのピンの構造は一緒ですが個々のタイヤメーカーはピン自体の構造に特徴➡️実例で言えば個々の「ピンの長さや太さそしてピンの材質の違いが有ります) タイヤが路面に接触する事で(車重の重みでタイヤに打ち込まれて居るピンが押し出されて氷に刺さる訳で其れで加速する訳です。 高速道路走行中でのスパイクタイヤはピンが(グラインダーで削られて居る状態と一緒です。 此のステージはショートステージなら保つでしょうがロングステージではゴール迄持たず普通のスノータイヤで(ケツを左右に振りながら走る事に成る。 スパイクタイヤは直進性は良いが一旦右左折の多いカーブでのブレーキの使用では非常に左右に弱く流されるリヤタイヤは速度が高ければ其の分左右に流される幅が大きくアンダーステアーに成り操作し難い状態になる〜故にカーブの入り口迄ポンピングブレーキでリヤが流れ内容に通過する事に気を使う特にカーブではどちらに流れるかは予想が付か無い〜崖の側なら尚更です。

@UNIA LTD In Dakar you don't use public roads where traffic safety laws are in place. But it's a shame that RMC still doesn't allow rally2, at least for powerstage, since it now grants manufacturers points as well.

Roll cage design on the rear hoop that the cameras was fixed to in the early 2000’s has changed to the point that sadly a camera in that position isn’t always possible.

Completing the asphalt range for Monte Carlo is the SOTTOZERO, in 235/40R18 size. This tyre comes in two versions: studded, for snow and ice, and without studs - like a normal road car tyre.

This is the thing F1 can never match. While F1 cars drive on safe closed circuit at 300kph it's also perfectly possible for a normal driver to do 200kph in a road car. But rallying? These guys are doing 150kph on roads that are normally driven at 15kph and a 300m fall just inches away.
