A lot of people are hoping for a romance, but I think the more likely outcome is she'll eventually wear him down, learn his cloning skills through empathy, then best case leave him be, or worst case, kill him for making her work so damn hard to get his ability. Land probably senses this and just wants her to leave him alone. Ubel's a friggen great character and a joy to watch in so many ways, but she's also bloody disturbing because she simply can't be trusted.

It's so bewildering to me how almost EVERY single anime/manga readers all seemingly simp for ubel and ship her with the glasses guy for some reason, when the manga and anime explicitly shows ubel doing what she does and acts the way she does specifically to copy other people's spells. And some people even argue that she doesn't kill people that don't deserve it, or that she only kills bad people/devils probably. SHE IS SHOWN IN A FLASHBACK, BISECTING A MAGIC TEST EXAMINER WITHOUT BATTING AN EYE. She is a blood hungry monster that kills people because she likes fighting and killing, and wirbel SAYS outright that he regrets not killing ubel when he had the chance. Ubel is following the glasses guy around to copy his clone spell, so that she can create multiple copies of herself and cast probably an endless amount of her slicing spell to make killing easier and more powerful. She may not appear be an evil with malevolent intentions to some people, but she is by definition, a high functioning psychopathic murderer who enjoys the act of murder. I personally hope she will show some actual character development or something along the line to show that she ISNT what i think she is, or just outright get killed off, since she poses nothing but a threat to everyone she encounters.
