Used to live in Dallas, GA back in 2005. Dove Lanier alot back then. Winter was the time to dive the boat ramps for trinkets (sunglasses, phones, watches). Dove the coves in Summer for the same stuff.

The music made me feel better cuz I have sort of a phobia for looking at under water even on a screen

Same here, idk what the phobia is. But I’m in a constant state of anxiety just looking at underwater video lol

Underwater shipwrecks just give me the major heeby jeebies! I have scuba dived a few in salt water and they just creep me out. It’s probably from when I saw “Jaws 3” in 3D when Richard Dreyfuss was checking out that submerged boat at night from underneath and that head popped out of a hole in the bottom at him. Scared the $hit out of me! Still does. Peace

Hate to disappoint but that is not a face, a skull or any other human remains. It is a can and the remaining markings make it look like a face. Human remains in Lake Lanier are not as common as people like to think.

I was thinking the same thing. Like yes, I’ve heard the stories of the lake being man made and essentially wiping out towns and blah blah back in the 50s... but there is SO MUCH crap in this lake. It’s a pretty big lake too.
@PixieDust_ValleyVibes3 жыл бұрын
It’s not trash. It’s the remnants of a town. Very sad story behind this lake, and for anyone to be brave enough to dive it is insane. So many deaths and disappearances happen here. No thank you!
