Very well done and very informative. Rees from “3s to Wound” used to do reports very similar to this about 2 years ago. I don’t know if they were too much work and/or suffered under the algorithm, but it’s nice to see this again.

53:53 I don't think it is possible as you can only use one act of faith, two if the special equipment was used. So at best your opponent could turn the 4 into a 6 for 2 FP and reroll a 1 into a 4, which means thats two 1s would stay from the original roll

Nice to see the new wrecka krew in action, and good to have the tactical tips throughout. The retelling felt fairly disjointed when you struggled to remember what happened, and some of the moves you described as moving from here to here, so harder to follow as more of a listener.

Is it true just because you cant retain a crit due to obscuring you dont get a wrecka point? (around 40min into video) I thought you do still get the wrecka, because it says 6's not crits. I could be wrong but thats my interpretation

Hmm, yes, I think you're right. The 6 is still a 6, just not a crit. But it's still a 6 so a wrecka point. Well spotted!

1:04:10 Agreed. Compared to the Kommandos the new Orks are absolute trash. GW really need to up their game. A lot of their recent releases have been uninspireing at best.

Accurate 2 Hello! It feels like turn one was done out of sequence. You say you held back your squigs as long as you could, but they moved first & none of the activations were alternating. This made it hard for me to track the flow of the game.

I see, thanks. I did that because turn 1 is always just everyone moves forwards except the squigs which made it actually interesting. Needless to say, several people have complained about me not doing it all in order, so if I do anymore after these two, I will have to not skip to the good stuff!

I think boards in kill team are too small. I am used to Play on 48" x48" its Infiniti dimenssion. Do you think that 30" x30" would be also good for kill team on home or casual play? I have plague,angels,death korps and tempestus...will be good to Play them on 30"x30" ?

The Wrecka model are definitively boring, except maybe some of the weapons. The bodies are literally a wet napkin tho

same tbf. I also don't understand how novitiates are strong. 7 wounds is too fragile for anything to work, especially all the survivability options they got this edition. But they lost a lot of lethality in this edition.

When you can reliably make saves, crits when you need them, and then heal, they're functionally immune to chip damage, which is bigger than you'd expect. Either you outright kill them when you shoot them, or they take net zero damage. And they can always just blinding light the shot

They're effectively 9wounds when on a marker with a strat ploy, so if you don't push 9damage through they can pretty much heal all or atleast most damage as long as they spent faith points. Elite melee is just a hard counter as they hit so hard. the lack of Flamers in this team is huge as they are missing alot of damage potential.

Some Thoughts. Trying to remember how it went and second guessing/not kowing interrupts the flow. Making it feel less like a tactical report and more like a "this was my wednesday"-podcast. The abbreviations could use a legend at the side where there is whitespace anyway. Same for your facecam. having it over the map and moving around makes you feel "in the way". offset the map to the left. use the top or bottom whitespace that you create on the right for your cam. put a legend beneath. Moving the units in order (if you havet he relevant footage or notes to check) would go a long way to better explain the board and flow. would make it feel more tactical instead of "things happened" Otherwise it was good. The only thing lacking is the second person potentially explaining their actions or perhaps having a few notes from what they explained to you if they are willing. this would be just a bonus and not a necessity however.

All fair thoughts. Very practical, all good! Might incorporate into future ones if these two tacreps get enough clicks to warrant more. I'm okay with it being basically a podcast and chat that happens to focus on a specific game as a launching platform for me to talk about some KT and some teams.
